Hmm.. Ok. I’ve had this beer about 10 times now, this rating is for a 4 year-old bottle. The pour is awesome; full of flowing bubbles amongst a yellow, cloudy body. It smells like yeast, lemonhead candy and pineapple. Flavors of fresh bread, piny citrus and soft herbs come to mind, while hops cleanse the palate with a subtle bitterness. What a beer to behold that ages so wonderfully.

Pours a hazzy yellow with a thick white head, little lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit and spice. Tastes like a Belgian style should. More tartness than La Fin ... Some alcohol warmth at finish. Creamy on palate.

Beerenberger (821) - Fischer, Texas, USA - MAR 14, 2013
The aroma is Belgian yeast with citrus notes. Pours a hazy amber with no head and no lacing. The taste is lightly sweet. Belgian yeast, orange, hints of dark fruit, and grain. The finish has a pleasing bit of a burn - either a peppery-like spice or alcohal. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Somewhat of a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, a very drinkable and enjoyable Belgian strong ale.

Moderate malt and musty yeast aroma. Cloudy orange color with a very small white head. I found some floating chunks in the bottom of the bottle. Light sweet beginning that builds to the finish. Ending has a slight alcohol taste.

Nice hazy clear golden cover with a nice foamy white head that doesn’t last. Aroma is nice and sweet with additional notes for orange and banana and maybe a little bit of pepper. Flavor is sweet and kind of clean with a few ester need totes. The finish has a nice alcohol flavor. Mouthfeel is kind of thin carbonation is average. Overall this is a decent beer.

Bottle 341ml. Pours blond with a high white head. Some lacing. Aroma is of spices, fruits, yeast. Taste is of spices, fruits, alcohol, sweetness, malt. Palate: medium body, somewhat dry finish. Overall: Fruity, spicy. Not the best from Unibroue, but still pretty decent!
