A nice Wheat style beer. Poured with a thick head. Lots of fruity flavors, bananas, clove and some nice citrus finish. Another nice beer from this brewer.

Bottled. GOlden color, start with a nice fluffy white head, but disappear fast. Aroma is sweety fruity a lot! Notes of peach, vanilla, Banana, apple, amazing... Flavor is citric, spicy and fruity, notes of lemon, grapefruit, alcohol and high carbonation, looks like a white wine, maybe witbier. Mouthfeel is spicy and dry.

750ml. Excited cork pop and equally lively head. Gorgeous, extra-thick whipped cream foamy head. Golden color, lively bubbles, and clear beneath the foam. Smells like brandy and yeast with light must touches. Not that aromatic and rather simplistic in smell. Similar flavors too: not that complex and thinner than expected. However, the good palate finishes clean, cleaner than some other Unis. Alcohol is somewhat detectable in the finish but not in a bad way. Not my favorite UB but still fun to drink.

Ale de type triple/ 9% d’alcool/ Blanche aux reflets dorés/ saveurs de fruits et de houblon à peine perceptibles/ Arôme dégageant un soupçon d’épices

Like many Belgian ales, it has a sweet, malty aroma. The color is pale golden witha tinge of red, and it has a decent amount of carbonation. Sweet, malty taste, maybe a little like corn, with some spiciness. Thin/medium mouthfeel. Nice burn on the palate afterwards, probably a combination of the spices and some hops. Decent, but not my favorite Unibroue.

old rating: 6/3/8/3/14 - 3.4 pour is cloudy, golden (looks like a wheat beer), fizzy, large bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. smell is yeast, ripe banana, wheat, sweet fruit, citrus, and some spice. taste is tangy on the tongue, yeast, some wheat, very carbonated, lemon, pineapple, apple, no alcohol taste, and some spice, leaves the mouth a little dry and a touch on the bitter side.

Had this beer on 7/22/2007. Aroma is a light sweet malt scent. Color is a pale gold with a slight haze. Carbonation is good with a loose white head. Taste is light and sweet. Stating with a light/medium body it goes down easy with a clean feel. Finish comes in with a mellow sweetness that has mild fruit tones then just a touch of bitterness on the end. Overall its a great beer but doesn’t have that Belgian taste that there others have.
