A light fruit, candy, and spice aroma that is quite enjoyable and yearns to get drunk. A lively mouth full with a sweet candy and fruit flavor that may include banana and peach and finishes with a yeastry dryness. Most flavorful wheat beer I have tasted. swoopjones (1896), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Updated: Jan 1, 200812 oz twist off cap. Big sweet aroma and a pour that is swirling hypnotizing. Gunk on bottom that should be taken advantage of. Hazy off yellow color. The appearance and aroma excels. Strong alky wheat beer taste. Smooth but it certainly is letting you know that it is more than just ’beer’. Low carbonation, coats mouth and is a bit creamy. Finish is somewhat alky at times, but it’s tuff to hide 9%. More like a strong wheat beer. I’m not good enough for this brew. UselessGdTaste (363), Long Beach, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 30, 2007 I normally have a bit of a tough time with some of these spicy ales, but this worked well. Maybe it was the age (2005), but it is more likely just a well made beer. Spice was additional in the flavour and not the focus. Texture was more viscous, but not unappealingly so. I’d drink this again if it was available to me. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 29, 2007 341ml bottle - pours cloudly golden/apricot with a fluffy white head. Aroma is of orange, lemon, white wine, some coriander, with a trace of alcohol. Flavour is very bright, spicy, with cloves, and citrus. Sweet. The white wine character remains in the flavour, but less so than in the aroma. Yeasty. Everything is balanced very well. Mouthfeel is wonderful, classic Unibroue - lively carbonation, but perfect. Like drinking velvet. I’ve actually been waiting quite a while to try this beer...don’t know why I haven’t until now. Lovely. JohnnyJ (1307), Carlsbad, California, USA

Aroma of citrus, floral, banana, and spice. Flavors of fruit, banana, belgian yeast, spice, and a bit of citrus. Quite enjoyable, a nice golden strong ale, which is expected from unibroue.
