LooseCannon (914), Norfolk, Virginia, USA Aug 16, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours cloudy golden color with full foamy white head. Aroma sweet and spicy. Taste spice and yeasty with clean finsih. rane (493), Nibe, Denmark Aug 15, 2007 Bottle. Hazy bright yellow with small quickly diminishing head. Aroma with notes of apples and wheat. Taste apples, wheat and malt also some sour notes, a little too fruity in a way thats not so good. I had high expectations, that wasn´t quite fullfilled. cbeers21 (563), Miami, Florida, USA Aug 14, 2007 Pours amber/gold with minimal head. Yeasty fruit, banana, cherry scents erupt on my nose, as well as candied, sugary malt aromas and light spice. A fruity, yeasty brew with soft, carressing flavors and a twinkle of carbonation. Alcohol is well disguised and the flavor hides the strength of a latent beast of a brew. Nice beer. JAF737300 (791), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 13, 2007 POurs hazy yellow with notes of banana and white pepper. The yeast drives into the palate with some resiidual cotton candy. You also see some orange in here as well. A long finish. trokini (1027), San Diego, California, USA Aug 13, 2007 Pours hazy but bright yellow with a huge white head. Lots of bubbles in this one. Banana, yeast, champagne, green apples, and bubble gum in the nose. Taste was a cross between a trippel and a German hefe. Bubblegum and banana aplenty up front. Tart pear and apple bite in the middle, and finishes with a sweet, spicy coriander, orange, yeast concoction. The over-effervescence of the carbonation detracted from this, but it was still a good brew. biznizness (930), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Aug 11, 2007 Hazy golden, looked like a tripel, but lacked a ton of flavor. Had this right after a Westmalle and... well, it fell short. Still a good brew. Mutualaid (136), Texas, USA Aug 10, 2007 Pours honey colored with a quickly dissipating white head. Faint aromas of banana and champagne with no appreciable hop bouquet. Tastes like pear and grape with a pleasantly astringent finish. Medium body. blindeyedbetty (148), Arlington, Virginia, USA Aug 9, 2007 12 oz. bottle pours a cloudy golden with beautiful head which reduces quickly to a tight white cap with minimal lacing. Smells like sunshine and dandelions, with a front palate of lemony-citrus, middle palate of clementine and corriander and a finish of yeasty sparkle. Sweet but not overly cloying. I can certainly see why it’s called the "Gift of God." For me it’s perfectly reminiscent of a crisp spring day.
