The beer begins with a sugar/malt taste, which is predominantly sweet, and as it finishes the fruit and citrus notes become more prominent. A smooth, great beer, truly a Gift from God.

Jul 7, 2007 355 ml bottle. Pours a hazy, rather dull orange with a course white head that quickly dissipates. Nice snappy fruit filled nose with a touch of spice. Medium body with hints of fig and pepper. Slight sweetness upfront that gets offset by a sharp, crisp finish.

Jul 1, 2007 Hazy golden with a big frothy white head. Fruity aroma with plum, sherry, and chardonnay. Rather sweet with some alcohol showing, sherry and raisin notes (had it close to the best before date). Dry and peppery finish.

Jun 30, 2007 pours hazy gold with thin head. aroma is spicy with apple, melon, pear, and some banana-ee sweetness. taste is tangy citrus with cloves and tiny banana. this beer brings a good amount of sweetness and finish in a nice tangy bitterness. i like this beer.

Jun 22, 2007 Bottle...cloudy in appearance, aroma of bananas, tastes very citrusy, quite tart and sour actually, which I did not enjoy. Highly carbonated. This is the second product I’ve had from Unibroue and I haven’t liked either that much.

Jun 19, 2007 Cloudy orange color with fruity aroma. This beer was way too carbonated and sweet tasting with a very dry finish.

Jun 17, 2007 750ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange color with a copious head that lasts a while. Strong aroma of citrus notes, like orange and apricot, mixed with lots of sweet malt, yeast and banana. Flavor is quite sweet, filled mostly with orange, banana and lots of pear. Plenty of carbonation, finishes with a dry alcohol nose that warms the palate. This brew could be more balanced between the intensely sweet malt and relatively high alcohol content, but it is definitely worth trying.

Jun 14, 2007 2004 bottle: Bright cloudy orange in color with small white head and no lacing. Aroma is subtle and sweet. Flavor is big, sweet, sugary and a little citric. Very nice.
