Pours an opaque pale gold with a wonderful egg-white head and some lace. Malty, citrusy aroma, with slightly metalic notes. Tastes like lemon meringue pie! Citrus, sweet wheat malt, more spice than hops. Warm, spicy finish. Coriander, light cloves, not so much banana. Thick satisfying body, good carb. Again, it’s like drinking lemon meringue pie. Excellent hefe.

Pours a yellowish orange with a small white head that qiuckly dissapates. Citrusy nose. Taste a some orange and vanilla in it. Not the best Unibroue, but a pretty good one.

Pours cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Nose is yeast spiciness and honey, apricot. The flavor trends towards a mildly sour apricot/nectarine and yeast spice. Medium body, alcohol well hidden, pretty good.

I consider myself a big fan of white beer but I don’t really believe there was anything outside of the high ABV content that really struck be about this beer. The appearance and aroma were nothing to write home about - in fact there was something oddly dissettling in the aroma. The flavor was crisp and very clean, a beautiful taste that has a lot of subtle complexity while also hiding the high alcohol content very well. It was a very smooth and easy beer, deceiving for something so strong, and yet nothing in particular about this struck me. In a situation where I want to feel the hit from a wheat beer, I would turn to this, but in another situation, I could just as easily have a hoegaarden.

12 oz. bottle. Cloudy light gold, rather small, quickly subsiding white head, minimal lace. Light fruity aroma with yeast, spice, and toffee. Light body, very effervescent, some stickiness. Slight sourness, some acidity, minimal sweetness, and a peppery bitterness rounding out the flavor. Refreshing quality, easily drinkable.

Aromas of floral honey, biscuits and a subtle hint of apple bubblegum. Small touch of alcohol and some minerals round out the aroma. Super cloudy, golden in color and a tall and loud white head that thins. Quick, fruity flavors of pineapple, apple and grapefruit followed by a light bread-y flavor that lasts for a while and turns sweetish. The carbonation is high, texture is medium thick, but the carbonation lightens it up. The finish is a bit sweet and has a touch of minerals.

Pours out golden hazy forming a huge foamy head. Aroma of malts, hops, yeast, biscuity lemons. Flavour of sweet malts, pineapples and spices. Cross between a triple and strong ale I think.
