| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 13, 2007 Bottle. Pours a hazy golden with a large short lived white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of super sweet bananas, citrus, sweet malt, coriander, and yeasty phenolics. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a spicy slightly tart finish. Another wonderfull beer from Unibroue. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 12, 2007 Pleasurable citrus nose and smooth on the tongue though not overcomplex. Perhaps I should have drank it at a warmer temperature; the main thing that shone through was orange peel, coriander and Unibroue’s usual, albeit restrained, yeast. Maverick34 (698), New York, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 5, 2007 Pours an opaque pale gold with a wonderful egg-white head and some lace. Malty, citrusy aroma, with slightly metalic notes. Tastes like lemon meringue pie! Citrus, sweet wheat malt, more spice than hops. Warm, spicy finish. Coriander, light cloves, not so much banana. Thick satisfying body, good carb. Again, it’s like drinking lemon meringue pie. Excellent hefe. dchmela (1426), Orlando, Florida, USA

Taste a some orange and vanilla in it. Not the best Unibroue, but a pretty good one. jgentgesdo (564), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2007 Pours cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Nose is yeast spiciness and honey, apricot. The flavor trends towards a mildly sour apricot/nectarine and yeast spice. Medium body, alcohol well hidden, pretty good. ch3nzi (2), Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 23, 2007 I consider myself a big fan of white beer but I don’t really believe there was anything outside of the high ABV content that really struck be about this beer. The appearance and aroma were nothing to write home about - in fact there was something oddly dissettling in the aroma. The flavor was crisp and very clean, a beautiful taste that has a lot of subtle complexity while also hiding the high alcohol content very well. It was a very smooth and easy beer, deceiving for something so strong, and yet nothing in particular about this struck me. In a situation where I want to feel the hit from a wheat beer, I would turn to this, but in another situation, I could just as easily have a hoegaarden.
