Apr 20, 2007 12 oz. bottle. Cloudy light gold, rather small, quickly subsiding white head, minimal lace. Light fruity aroma with yeast, spice, and toffee. Light body, very effervescent, some stickiness. Slight sourness, some acidity, minimal sweetness, and a peppery bitterness rounding out the flavor. Refreshing quality, easily drinkable.

Apr 17, 2007 Aromas of floral honey, biscuits and a subtle hint of apple bubblegum. Small touch of alcohol and some minerals round out the aroma. Super cloudy, golden in color and a tall and loud white head that thins. Quick, fruity flavors of pineapple, apple and grapefruit followed by a light bread-y flavor that lasts for a while and turns sweetish. The carbonation is high, texture is medium thick, but the carbonation lightens it up. The finish is a bit sweet and has a touch of minerals.

Apr 17, 2007 Pours out golden hazy forming a huge foamy head. Aroma of malts, hops, yeast, biscuity lemons. Flavour of sweet malts, pineapples and spices. Cross between a triple and strong ale I think.

Apr 15, 2007 Pours lightly hazy yellow/orange with a tall white head. Very estery nose and flavor with a blend of spice and fruits. Flavors range from apple, pineapple, citrus. Very high carbonation really brings the flavors to life and gives it a great texture on the palate.

Apr 13, 2007 Memphis-750 mL bottle. Aggressive carbonation, almost like a sprite, I could hear it from across the room! Aroma had some cidery/apple notes. Body was surprisingly full (appearance had a thin weak look-almost like an american light beer) with caramel dominating. Alcohol warms the tummy for days.

Apr 12, 2007 Updated: Jun 7, 2007Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a tulip glass, cloudy yellow with a medium head. Aroma was of pineapple and yeast. The taste had notes of pineapple and perhaps apricot. There was a touch of sourness and a definite bitterness.

Apr 12, 2007 Updated: Mar 2, 200912 oz bottle. The aroma was sweet with some notes of some sort of fruit. It poured a cloudy orange with chunks of yeast (i think). It sort of reminded me of Victory’s Golden Monkey a bit. Good brew. I want to try this back to back with Fin du Monde to compare.
