Hazy gold pour. Frothy white head. Enticing spicy aroma of sweet fruit, peaches and ripe orange, vanilla, caramel, clove. Initially sugary sweet flavor, but peppery in the finish. Tastes of fruits and spice. Soft, comfortable palate. Medium body, watery texture. Perky carbonation. Short finish and that is the weakness along with the texture. Otherwise, a solid, enjoyable beer. I wouldn’t hesitate buying this again. Very good.

Pours a cloudy gold color, with a thin lacy white head. It smells of malt and orange. It tastes of hops and orange initially and then has an aftertaste of spicey orange. I like this better than the Maudite but not as much as the fin du monde. An excellent beer.

Pours to a hazy shade of gold. Looks and tastes like a tripel. Aromas of straw, orange, and yeast. There might be a sliver of wheat. Crisp, refreshing malty flavor reminiscent of pilsner a little bit. A touch hoppy with spice, maybe Saaz, buttery and acidic. Might actually make a nice summer by-the-grill brew.

Pours a hazy yellow - fairly clear with a medium head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and mild malts. Flavor is fruity sweet - some complexity and fruitiness as others have said. Fairly bubbly body and clean finish. Not bad.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale straw color, with a frothy one finger head that fades to a thick cap and leaves behind a decent amount of lace. Smell; very similar to a hefe-weizen. Bananas, oranges and cloves are all present, as well as some wheat. Taste; once again, very hefe-weizenesque. The oranges, bananas and cloves are there, with a little honey sweetness, ginger and plenty of other spices. Not quites what I was expecting, but still very enjoyable. Mouthfeel is on the light side, and very easy to drink. This would make for a good summertime beer if the alcohol were not so high.

Bottled:Pours a orangy/gold with a small tight head. Aroma is pretty complex plenty of fruit (citrus, banana, cloves, pepper) and alcohol. Malty and sweet with a mid-range bitter finish. Alcohol is not very evident in the mouthfeel. Decent enough beer but I expected a bit more from unibroue.

Fruity, lively, mildly bitter, and well-balanced. Wish I had tried this sooner.

Bottle, DBF 2005. Hazy gold, moderate white head and low condition. Yeast and perfumed flowery malty tripel notes in the nose, low sweet yeastiness in the mouth with hints of floral honey and malt and a lingering sweet finish tempered by some yeasty bitterness.
