In the 750 ml bottle. Pours a rich gold that resembles 3-day old urine. Initial strong fizzy white head that disappates rapidly. The aroma is exactly like the stick of bubblegum that comes in the pack of baseball cards. First sip involes a strong sweetness, but is followed by a sour tart blast. For a 9% avb, this has a mild alcohol mouth feel. Tingy tongue bitterness emerges late. Aroma and taste are also of a strong perfume.

Bottle, DBF 2005. Hazy gold, moderate white head and low condition. Yeast and perfumed flowery malty tripel notes in the nose, low sweet yeastiness in the mouth with hints of floral honey and malt and a lingering sweet finish tempered by some yeasty bitterness.

Bottle marked best before 10-15-11. Pours with a large rocky head over a hazed orange body. Aroma of orange peel, Unibroue house yeast (which I associate with celery), honey, candi sugar and spice. Very fizzy mouthfeel that interferes with enjoying this beer. Taste is sweet with honey, house yeast, bread, candi sugar, alcohol and a touch of diacetyl. A bit hot (alcoholic), but I think that has to do with the beer being somewhat fresh. Too fizzy.

Bottle. Rich golden beer with a thin white head. Yeasty aroma with some malt backing. Yeasty flavor with honey, cotton candy, and fruit (apricot). Dry, but spicey, prickly finish.

Very much like a tripel. Hazy, golden color. Some fruit, lots of w sweet malt and sugar. A hint of peach and some coriander. The high abv is well hidden.

Hazy blonde color with a thick finely laced white head. Fruity, spicy and earthy yeast aroma. Surprising and interesting flavor of spices and sweet banana, feels like soft banana candy. Lasting fruity finish. Full body, slightly syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Very nice .

Sampled at From The Vine beer tasting Jan 9th, 2004: This brew pours a slightly cloudy dark yellow color with a thick white head. Fair lacing. Sugary sweet malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body with a nice blend of malt, citrus (mostly lemon) and yeast flavors. The alcohol is nowhere to be found. The finish is fruity with a touch of malt. Pretty good overall.
