Hazy blonde colored body with bubbly off-white head that dissipates quickly. Wonderful bouquet here: fruit, spice and yeast. The flavor is much the same yet the aftertaste is sweet. Excellently balanced carbonation, sweetness and alcolhol presence make for a very warm finish. Yes, very nice.

Dark orange colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Orange, yeast, spices dominate this aroma, some dried fruits also here with mild alcohol. Some Sahti-like spicy-fruitiness also comes up, still not distracting anyhow. Medium to full bodied. Flavor is also rich with fruits and spices, yeast lasts in aftertaste with mild acohol and maybe hints of added sugar. Good Belgian styled spiced brew.

Bottled 33cl. Hazy orange. Off white head, average size, good retention, nice lacework. The nose is of apricots, walnuts, alcohol and seaweed. Some marmite and vitamin tablets sneaking in. Alcohol too present in the taste. Metallic. A lot of walnuts, apricots and pumpkin showing up. Sweet. Low bitterness. Seaweed sneaking in. A bit cloying after a few sips. Full bodied. Marmite, pumpkin and apricots in the finish. Not a good Unibroue. A really bad Abbey Tripel.

Bottle 341ml. @ home.
Unclear medium orange color with small body particles, and with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel and keller notes, spicy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet (fruit sweetnes) with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. (290608)

Deep golden, with dark yeast sediment swirling to eventually settle. Giant merangue of a head. Sweet aroma of dried straw and pears-in-syrup. Sweet palate as well, malty, with a yeasty fruit essence, but otherwise little complexity really. Not my favourite from this excellent brewery.

Brought back from Montreal for me by mate Sizzler. App: Wonderful hazy orange colour with a small but steady off white head. Aroma: Toffee and pineapple, some herbal influence also. Flavour: Slight bitter, some distinct hops & yeast, quite fruity and refreshing really. Great little beer.
