April, 2004. Bottle Conditioned with its own glass at The Green Parrot, Hornfleur, Normandy. The bottle label is great - the picture is humorous, and the little poems (slightly different version in French) is also amusing - though the glass is boring. Matt, old gold colour with a little foam film head. An attempt at a Belgian Triple? Softly sweet with a touch of dark spice. OK, but not my thing. Aroma of a singed rubber band. [2.6]
Nov, 2006. Greasy, smokey bacon flavour, mushy corn, yeast, crude alcohol - a BBQ in a brothel. [2.4]

Unclear medium orange color with small body particles, and with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel and keller notes, spicy, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet (fruit sweetnes) with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to lively. (290608)

Sep 6, 2008 Deep golden, with dark yeast sediment swirling to eventually settle. Giant merangue of a head. Sweet aroma of dried straw and pears-in-syrup. Sweet palate as well, malty, with a yeasty fruit essence, but otherwise little complexity really. Not my favourite from this excellent brewery.

Aug 29, 2008 Brought back from Montreal for me by mate Sizzler. App: Wonderful hazy orange colour with a small but steady off white head. Aroma: Toffee and pineapple, some herbal influence also. Flavour: Slight bitter, some distinct hops & yeast, quite fruity and refreshing really. Great little beer.

Aug 24, 2008 341ml. bottle. The color is a hazy honey with a thick off white head. The taste is sweet snd fruitylike citrus fruits. The aroma is also of fruits but added to that herbs. The presence of yeast is also noticable.The alcohol is very present but not so that it takes anything away from the flavor.
