| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 13, 2007 Hazy orange-gold with a large white head. Leather and yeast aroma augmented by a sweet, sugary fruitiness. Front of taste is strong, alcoholic with some citric notes as well as sweetness. The flaw in this well-crafted beer is that it lacks a decent finish, subsiding into an unexpected watery vacancy. MoritzF (4926), Bochum, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 9, 2007 (bottle, traded with Edo, thanks!) Hazy, pale golden colour with loads of yeast floaties and a medium-sized blond foamy head. Slightly dusty, sweet malty, slightly grainy and bready aroma with a light fruity (citrus) note on a herbal hoppy background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation (for a Tripel). Malty taste with honey and a moderate to light fruit-character; early arriving alcoholic notes; almost dry balanced malty and delicate hoppy finish. A bit uncommon but pretty drinkable Triple which lacks a bit complexity. puzzl (2601), New York, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 8, 2007 12oz bottle from canada. Nice yeasty aroma, perfumy, peach fuzz, cheese and crackers, cinnamon, white wine, apple cider. Very nice complexity. Flavor is a bit thin and dissappointing, perfumey floral yeast, but a bit of weird sour pee flavor. Ew. A bit tough to drink, too. But the aroma is really quite nice. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Cloudy golden orange colour. Nice yeast, citrus, fruity notes, maybe mango or peach. Some spicy and caramel. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and a slightly alcoholic texture. Flavour was sweet with hints of acidic and bitterness. Good sweet and slightly spicy finish. Dezzilu (211), Whitmore Lake, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Apr 1, 2007 I loved everything about this beer but the aftertaste: the murky golden color, the fruity, hoppy smell, and the smooth even flavor. It is just the aftertaste, with the strange mix of bitter, and something else that leaves a peculier tast in my mouth. In all honesty, I have had the same complaint about every triple I have rated. Maybe it just this style that doesn’t jive with my taste buds. Anyway, it is a decent beer. Don’t turn it down, but don’t expect to be completely satisfied. Cheers. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2007 Thanks go out to boutip for this beer. This "holy water" poured an effervescent golden with a fizzy white head. Aroma of creamed corn, coriander, toffee, red wine, a bit of mustiness. Flavor is light with notes of citric acidity, sweet toffee, some fruit notes, and some peppery alcohol, leading to a quite dry finish with a slight metallic twinge. Carbonation is surprisingly soft. Drinkable, though tastes a tad on the low-key side for the style. Miguel (1181), Saint-Ours, Quebec, Canada
