Managed to put myself through soem after a nite of heavy heavy boozin with the arse of a boy garethyoung, well he did open this and not drink it all once i was asleep. Aroma is heavy fruity yeastyness, with candy sugar kickin in, some floural spice off the hops. Taste is similar, quite a kick off the alcohol, but nice.

[Bottle from BeersofEurope] Yeasty aroma, esters, banana, spicey. Full body, some peppery alcohol.

Hazy yellow with very large near white head. Smells quite yeasty, with a bit of spiciness, and slightly musty. Very thin mouthfeel, flavors are bland and kind of dank. Singular flavors aren’t really coming to the front. I’m guessing maybe I got a bad bottle. Will try again, tastes wrong.

Bottle from Paul (blankboy) Thanks. Pours out a yellowish brown color without much of a head. Smell is slightly fruity with some hints of spices. Taste is rich and almost oak flavored with a little fruity and spicy mixture. All in all, not really what I was expecting, but it was certainly not bad, and I dont know if you can even get this in the USA? Not bad.

Drank in a tulip glass. Nice amber body. Normal white head. Nice hoppy aromas, coriander, oranges, bread, alcohol, spices, pears on a nice background of good cork. Good balance between the sweetness, bitterness and sourness. Good carbonation on a good caramel background. Thick to the palate, alot of body. This was a 2004 750ml bottle, this beer ages nicely and i wouldn’t have any issue having it age longer.

Hazy blonde colored body with bubbly off-white head that dissipates quickly. Wonderful bouquet here: fruit, spice and yeast. The flavor is much the same yet the aftertaste is sweet. Excellently balanced carbonation, sweetness and alcolhol presence make for a very warm finish. Yes, very nice.

It was hard to get the cork out of this one! Color: gold, hazy, white, medium sized head after the huge head settled. Aroma: strong citrus-y yeasty smell. Taste: tasted like a belgian bt with a sudden alcohol taste followed my mellow fruit tones, apple and orange. Palate: thinner than I expected, but good. Overall: it would have been better if it didn’t have the mild alcohol bite.

Partly cloudy dark yellow body with a small but long-lasting white head. Light fruity aroma with some coriander leaves. Very yeasty with a light cheesy flavour. Orange, tangerine and lots of coriander (too much coriander). Nice hoppy finish with mild bitterness. Lively carbonation. This is not a tasty strong Belgian style ale. This one scores very high with me because it excels at being refreshing and drinkable. Holy Water is great to repel vampires and attract glouglouburps.
