Grocery store in Marseilles. Pours amber with an uncharacteristic Unibroue head: fully receding white head. Aroma of bubble gum, toffee, clove, caramelized ale fruits. Taste is sweet, yeasty, and fruity. Notes of plums, raisins, and orange. Mouthfeel is full bodied, sticky with lush carbonation.

Cloudy golden in colour, very yeasty/bready with a bit of bitterness and citrus and fruity notes. Doesn’t taste much different from every other Unibroue Belgian, and I though the carbonation was overdone.

Hazy orange hue with thin snowy head. Powerful fruity aroma with tones of orangees, abricot, some bread. Spritzy mouthfeel. Taste is not as fruity as the aroma, having quite a sourness along with its freshness. Okay, but not their best.

An Unibroue that I have never seen in the states, but did find it in a convenience store in Old Montreal oddly enough. A fine tripel ale. Not too sweet. A little bit of spice. Not the best from this great brewer, but a strong choice.

341ml bottle picked up in Montreal. Served in a NB worthy snifter. Orange/gold color with a light white head and a ton of yeasty sediment on the bottom. Aroma is spicy (black pepper), yeasty, fruity (bananna, lemon, some orange), and a touch of sourness. Taste is initially citrus and yeast followed by an almost mead-ish sweetness and mouthfeel ending dry and crisp. The alcohol and mild bitterness clean the mouth. Nice, full mouthfeel midway through, but finishes dry. Another great Unibroue beer.

Great belgian triple style. This must be the best belgian style brewery in the americas. This is a very authentic tasting belgian triple. Very dry tasting, cloudy in color with very little head.and a spicey yeasty taste.

33cl from Auchan, Calais. Hazy green gold colour with minimal white head. Yeast, hop and golden syrup type aroma. Fruits are quite good on this one. Bit too overcarbonated. Good toffee flavours in mouth with drying tingly hop finish. Quite pleasant if not awe inspiring. Lacks a bit of depth and intensity to be a really good triple.
