Decent tripel without some of the buttery velvety smoothness of a Karmaliet. Sweet malt, flowers, some coriander, head lacks some of the normal fluffy body. Good, but not great.

Golden yellow color with a small white head. Has a subtle yeasty aroma. Flavor is also very subtle. Has hints of yeast and a touch of sweetness. Doesn’t quite stand out against other top tripels, such as Unibroue’s own La Fin Du Monde, but is still decent.

Bomber. Hazy golden pour with a thin amber head that disappears fast. Aromas of Belgian yeast, bread, citrus, spice and light earthy notes. Flavor is sweet citrus, light malt, yeast, and spice. Light to medium bodied with a dry finish. Lingering fruit.

16 months old 341ml bottle. This is a typical Unibroue beer at their best. hazy with dark golden color. nice foamy head some lemon notes in the aroma. Unibroue’s one of a kind yeast is at best in this one I thinks it matches all the flavors together. slight touch of sugar. which makes this beverage hold in mouth very nicely. The only thing I may hate about Unibroue is that they use the same yeast base in almost every beer they brew ... but with such a good yeast who can really blame them... have it a try if you can find it . it holds very well in anyone’s cellar ... I advise to drink it after a year or 2 of fermentation in the bottle!! cheers

UPDATED: DEC 12, 2013 Der Geruch erinnert an frisches, süßes Popcorn!

Oops, lost this page of notes but remember it tasting like every other Unibroue I’ve had save one or two. Too much yeast and a tad bland with some fruity notes, toasted malt, alochol and candi sugar.

split a 750ml with the wife. pours hazy golden hue capped by an active white foam head. massive biscuit, malt, booze, flowers and grass. well balanced all wrapped in a big burly body.
