Pour is clear golden with a big bubbled quickly fading head that left nice lacing...smell is initially a little off putting...musty, yeast, then sweat, cloves, alcohol...definately grew on me...taste is a little fruity up front with the ever so slight pepper and clove coming on and allowing a little bitterness toward the end...very lively mouthfeel...not great but quite under-rated...thanksto tiggmtl for this!

75 cl bottle; Spicy aroma with hints of sweet malt. Golden, hazy color with white head with bad retention. Fruity flavor with lots of malt. Good mouthfeel with fine carbonation.

Nice abbey tripel, golden colour with big solid white head. Nose is sweet and malty with some spices, almost wheatbeer-like. Taste is fruity and fresh with some yeast in the finish.

Bouteille de 341 ml. Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes, d’épices et bizarrement de poudre à jus. Apparence: Couleur blonde pâle légèrement voilée. Carbonisation faible. Petit col qui disparaît vite. Saveur: Goût de pamplemousse et d’épices. Palette: Légère acidité sur la langue. Arrière goût d’agrumes en bouche. (Rating #37)

Color is a muddy amber/ orange with a large, fluffy white head. Aroma is in a class by itself: angelic, uplifting, arousing. Fresh, floral, soft, sweet,...a compound of beauty and wonder, entirely in a universe of it’s own! Body is medium, but light on the tongue, sweet and spicy, with tingly hops! Full presence on the palate, lilting and dancing hops! This is a true contender to Duvel. S’wonderful, S’marvelous, S’whatIlike to drink!
