Cloudy gold with a thin head. Aromas are light and spicy with some citrus. Flavours are candy, sugar, fruit, yeast and spice. Its all very mild and lacks depth. Not much alcohol is evident. The first Unibroue that I didn’t enjoy much.

12 oz bottle in Montreal. Fin Du Monde, Jr.? Golden ale, lots of citrus and floral notes in the bouquet and flavor. Thinner body and less booze than FDM, probably better during a drinking session, but FDM is a bigger better brew.

33 cl bottle. Served in Westmalle goblet. Beautiful, slightly hazy, deep gold color. Moderate head. Nice, fresh, citrusy aroma. Light-tasting and pretty fresh. The finish is a bit thin, although the alchohol brings a certain warmth. Airy mouthfeel. Good drinkability.

very juicy orange/yeast aroma. Dirty tan with no head. Flavor continues the aroma, yeasty and citrusy with that typicaly unibroue spiciness. Tart, raisiny finish

Tasted in Ottawa. Tasted from a standard Gatineau coner store with a really good selection of Unibroue, Le Cheval Blanc and Boreale. When first tasted I was sure the bottle was skunky. However, after ready the review, I might just be bang on. i read SilkTorks review about singed rubber bands - seems to be true, at least in my case. Aroma is of rubber, very strange. At first I thought it was close to orange rind, but rubber it is. Appearance is cloudy yellow with absolutely no head. Very very cloudy. Did I mention cloudy? Taste is yeasty, with an up-front alcohol presence, and very bready yeasty finish.

Pours hazy yellow with slight whitish head. Flowery yet fruity nose with citrus tones. Mild malt sweetness and dry yet cleansing finish. Average for Unibroue.

Hazy and cloudy golden colour with a thin, quickly diminishing fizzy white head. Lively carbonation. Light citrus and spicy aroma. Dry, yeasty, and bitter, but not much else. Prickly and fizzy mouthfeel. Decent, but easily the most disappointing Unibroue I’ve had.
