Bottle compliments of clarkvv. Somehow I completely missed rating this one last weekend. Pours golden yellow with a medium sized head that quickly dissapates. Smells of yeast, malt, spice, and hay. Has some malty sweetness to it, yeast, spices and citrus notes. Just a little too watery and thin. Still, this beer is pretty good.

Undated (probably 03) 11.12 oz bottle. Good golden/yellow pour, with some light tangerine tinges and a good sized white head. Aroma has tons of yeast in it. LIghtly spicy and has some sweet citrus notes. Flavor is a bit dull though, quite subtle, with some lightly tart notes, tons of yeast and a chewy mouthfeel characteristic of a belgian wit. Not overly sweet at least, but just not terribly complex. Dry, a bit thin as it warms, but pretty drinkable.

Nice frothing head that dissapear fast though. Pale amber color. Malty sweet aroma with caramel. Very nice balance between bitterness and sweetness with a complex mix of citrus and spices. Tickles the tongue and is very tasty!

The "holy water" was just that, watered down. This beer poured yellow with a small white head. Hazy appearance and a spicey scent to it. Taste is watered down with spices, yeast, and alcohol. A somewhat poor offering from Unibroue. This would be better if it had a little more substance, and less water. But, a decent brew.

Sampled from bottle at Danish Beer Festival 2004 (#61).
Hazy yellow colored beer with a medium head. Typical tripel aroma; yeast, hay and spices. Flavor is mild and somewhat sour with hay tones. Ok for a tripel because of the lightness (I’m not a huge fan of tripels!). Foamy mouthfull.

Pours hazy golden body, creamy head though its fast disappearing. Fruity aroma, reminds me a bit of pineapples. The flavor is fruity, dry. Very refreshing. Nice one.

Mild and fruity aroma. A light, golden and cloudy body, with medium white head. It has a mild and harmonic taste in spite of 7.7% alc. All though it fills your mouth, the taste is gone within long. A good harmonic triple for every occation.
