A lot lighter then other belgian triple. Pourred a nice clear white head. The alcohol is well hidden. Taste very sweet. Very good beer but not a traditional triple. It is an agreable beer but not special. The gay label must impress with some. Not me. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2003 Honey, golden color, hazy. Some light carbonation, the bubbles are little. Sweet, yeasty aroma. Maybe some apples. Fairly tart flavor. There seems to be a little bit of malty roastiness. Another good offering from Unibroue. fly (1331), austin, Tejas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Jun 4, 2003 Extremely fragrant, but surprisingly light. Looks as if it were filtered through dirty socks in a suitcase. Oh, it WAS. The bottled looked good. Quite a promising beer. I think my pants, sweatshirt, socks, suitcase, sheets and mattress all enjoyed consuming what I will still be waiting to see as I wasn't quite up to staining the remains through my teeth with hopes of missing glass fragments. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2003 Golden cloudy color with a white mostly diminishing head. Fruity aroma and taste with noticable malt sweetness. A little sour on the finish however. Not one of my favorites. joeycapps (1466), Waterdown, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 7, 2003 Hazy golden/orange w/ white head (which didn't last). Yeast, fruit (banana), caramel, & some band-aid on the nose. Feels a little thick--would have like a little more carbonation. Very malty flavour w/ yeast, fruit (banana, peach), & light caramel. Dry, moderately acidic finish w/ lots of alcohol. Flavours, unfortunately, don't come together particularly well. Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 29, 2003 Golden orange color with a fluffy, white head. The aroma is yeasty and spicy, with notes of bananas, soft yeast, apples and honey, and a light citrus element. The flavor is not quite as sweet or fruity as the nose suggested, but that's not altogether bad. A nice dry malt character stands strong above a light fruity sweetness. Not the most outstanding Unibroue beer, but one that is still tasty and smooth. mwsf (360), San Francisco, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 4, 2003 Hazy orange color with a rapidly subsiding white head. Yeasty aroma. Bananas. Lightly citric. Similar yeast aroma through all of the Unibroue beers. Nice slightly sweet, slightly malty flavor. Some hop spiciness. Creamy. Medium body. Barely perceptible alcohol aroma. Wonderful!
