Unibroue Eau Bénite

33 cl bottle at Ørsted Ølbar (special offer just DKK 35). Hazy golden colour, not much head. Fruity (apples) and spicy but I also picked up some less pleasant notes of macaroons. Nice mouthfeel and bitterness.

Thin dissipating head, golden and clear. Smells and tastes fruity. It’s got a little tang to it much like the commercial description. Considering it’s alcohol content, it certainly is like holy water. Way too easy to drink. Clean, consistent and nice.

Delirium Cafe, Bruxelas. Muito malte, leve floral e frutado. Um tanto fraca e aguada, se parece com outras cervejas da Unibroue (La Fin du Monde) mais suave. Não impressiona.

Bottle: Poured a murky brown with a yellow haze, very carbonated head with some lacing. The aroma is sweet fruit with spices. The taste is a rich malt and spice. Very smooth with a fruit aftertaste.

Garrafa. Coloração âmbar turva, com creme branco. Notas frutadas e doces. Cravo. Levemente amarga. Sedimentos no fundo. Carbonatação média/baixa. Sente-se de leve o álcool. Sabor fraco.

(Bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of mustiness, sweet malt, some fruit, clove, and light diacetyl. Flavor of apple, candi sugar, spicy yeast, and pear.

0.34 l bottle. Peachy brown color with thick fluffy head. Sweetish, candyish, toffeish and spicy aroma with vanilla and tart fruitiness. Sweet, yeasty, candyish and spicy flavor with notes of pepper, vanilla and cristmas cookies.

Very aromatic - a dry yeastiness aroma... a complex flavour, along the lines of La Fin du Monde but not as thick. The flavour is like a sweet dry malt, with citrus overtones, and a bit of overall spiciness... very good!
