"Body appears yellowy cloudy beige and a think rocky noisy cap sits on top, the retention is phenomenal and leaves behind thick layers of lacing. Aroma is sour wheat, orange maybe, yeast, mild spice and floral notes, smells ok nothing great but it’s very acceptable. Very wheaty taste that’s mildly sour, a soapy alcohol flavour comes through in the finish. The mouth feel is medium bodied with a sparkling carbonation feel. Beer is now warming and a banana flavour is showing through along with mild lemon pepper, the after taste is clean and sweet. This tastes like your typical Unibroue but is a little lighter flavoured and easier drinking. I’m enjoying this and would buy it again."

The label looks like a cherub past his prime, wishing he was still a fat little baby. Not very intimidating or scary, like other Unibroue labels. I think they try to intimidate you into buying the beer. Regardless, I enjoyed the fruity complexity and deep amber color of this beer. The middle-aged cherub failed to intimidate me, however.

The "holy water" was just that, watered down. This beer poured yellow with a small white head. Hazy appearance and a spicey scent to it. Taste is watered down with spices, yeast, and alcohol. A somewhat poor offering from Unibroue. This would be better if it had a little more substance, and less water. But, a decent brew.

This poured with an enormous, foamy head with a bit of lacing, and nice hazy golden colour. Aroma was very subdued, pleasant but I couldn’t quite make out what it brought to mind. Perhaps every so slightly fruity? Taste was excellent, again somewhat fruity and some caramel at the end. Lovely, lovely beer.

Bottle, 75cl. Hazy yellow colour with a large off-white head. Aroma of yeast, dough & citrus. Sourish bitter flavour with a nice tone of cinnamon. Medium to high carbonation, average body.

lemon yellow hazy pour with a quick dissipating head (typical of unibroue)... honey and some citrus fresh aromas. Truly bizarre taste I can not place easily... like pasta and citrus and grass. Zesty and bittersweet!

Bottle - September 2005 Pours a bright yellow golden colour. White medium sized frothy head. Aroma is sweet and vinous. Flavor is sweet, fruity, peaches. Medium to full bodied, alcohol is well hidden, taste is really subtle but some spicyness is present. Aftertaste is somewhat short for a beer so complex, but nonetheless it is wonderfull!

Bottle.Ap: Golden hazy, small white head. Ar: Fruit sourness. Rhubarb, apple... Fla: Big fruity taste. Could have used some tartness in finish. Ov: Very interesting fruit dominated triple.
