As becomes warmer, this beer becomes more soft and the flavors become better. My advice, try it slightly under room temp. Nice beer. french tickler (642), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada

Nice hoppy aromas, coriander, oranges, bread, alcohol, spices, pears on a nice background of good cork. Good balance between the sweetness, bitterness and sourness. Good carbonation on a good caramel background. Thick to the palate, alot of body. This was a 2004 750ml bottle, this beer ages nicely and i wouldn’t have any issue having it age longer. This one’s a triple, I suppose. U makes at least two other triples (Fin du Monde, Don de Dieu), both of which I find inappropriately sweet and spicy (coriander and orange peel belong in *witbiers*, not *triples*). Eau Benite is still on the malty side, but it isn’t inappropriately sweet. We seem to have here the aroma of American hops, which is unusual in this style of beer, combined with at least some malted wheat and obviously Belgian yeast. It’s a great combination, really: if you can imagine a strong American Pale Ale with wheat and Belgian yeast, you can imagine Eau Benite. Warning: it’s considerably sweeter than the standard Belgian triples (say Westmalle or Chimay), but if you will be rewarded if you sip this beer with an open mind. bedainedebiere (299), Terrebonne, Quebec, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 5, 2009 Updated: Jun 26, 2009A personnal favorite, in Quebec hard to find elsewhere than in SAQ Selection. Citrus and floral aroma with a beautiful golden unfiltered beer appearance with some yeast particules that do not seem to fall into bottom. The taste is absolutely amazing. There’s a butterscotch divine sweetness dominating a complexity of layers of fruits like orange and surely others. A beer worth the right glass and temperature. Let it warm up. It will do the same for you. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

Unlike others here I didn't get the over carbonation. Admiral (524), Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 2, 2003 A very enjoyable Belgian styled ale in the strength of a triple. Among the more enjoyable non-Belgian brewed triple styled ales available, but pales in comparison to Unibroue’s own "La Fin du Monde."
Pours clean with a bright golden hue colour and a might head that gives way quickly to a thin broken head. Aroma is very enjoyable with hints of fruit such as pear, orange and apple must, but not enough to confuse it with the "Ephemere" (also by Unibroue).
Although it has warming characteristics, its 7.7%abv is lower than that of many "triples" but that alcohol content can sneak up on ya when not looking. Its a very drinkable ale that went well with a series of pre-Xmas dinner appetizers.
