Draft at Taphouse/Queensway. Ah, what a lovely beer. Light in color, this drinks with a nice fresh, fruity character. Lemony citrus presides, and the beer has a fun effervescent delivery. Nice herbal finish. Yum. (#4821, 11/10/2012)

Solid tripel, maybe not as strong as other examples but it’s very smooth and quite enjoyable. As with most Unibroue beers, very good.

Had this bottle in the fridge for a while. Pours a hazy yellowish gold with a thick off white head. Coriander, spice notes, light floral and citrus hops. A bit phenolic with a medium toasted wheat malt, light bread notes. Mild bitterness, with a solid carbonation stream. A pretty middle of the road tripel!

Bottle. Cloudy golden-orange with a dense, lasting white head. Aroma is citrus zest, Belgian yeast, a touch of white bread. Flavour is sweet citrus, some yeast ad candy notes, a touch boozy for the ABV. Pretty classic Unibroue.

Pours a huge frothy white head and has a hazy orangey golden appearance. Aromas of yeast and citrusy notes. Flavours are quite sweet with strong spice notes. The yeast takes a backseat and the hoppy citrusy hints become more pronounced. Also some notes of floral and earthy hops. Fairly excessive carbonation. Full bodied mouthfeel.

341 ml from pasquier thx Alex A: light coriander, herbacy, bready, spicy app: hazy pale thick white head with great lacing t/p: med body with light bitter finish. Med to high carbonation. Crisp. O: great. Nice belgian character and superb overall drinkability. Unibroue should definitely consider reentering this beer to it’s already amazing portfolio.
