Very fantastic beer. Sweet fruit in the aroma with some spice. Flavor was very sweet with tastes of malt and light spice. Finished with a hint of prune. Very well aged and blended brew. Would buy again for sure.

2008-Apr-25 from a 750 ml bottle Ɠ years and 5 months old). Big English Barleywine-like aroma with tons of ripe fruit and caramelized sugar. Dark brown with not much head. Ripe banana flavor at first, then a very, very nice pure brown sugar finish. Fizzy with a medium body.

Bottle. Small light brown head. Clear and very dark brown body. Vineous coffee choccolate aroma and flavor. Low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

750mL bottle from Pwn3d. Aged for a couple of years. This beer pours a dark, dark brown body with no head. The aroma is surprising for a beer with this body - mostly cherry and other fruit. The taste is great - very smooth, the consistent spritzer carbonation that is unique to Unibroue, and the disguise of the plus 10% alcohol is impressive. I didnt taste any trace of alcohol.

Slams into the palate with strong malt and cola notes. Fruity, a bit like raisins. Overall very drinkable, complex, slightly tannic. Alcohol very evident in bottle in this bottle.
