| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 5, 2006 The aroma is super fruity with figs, grapes, plums, and spices like nutmeg and allspice. Three is also a lot of brown sugar in there as well. The appearance is brown-purple with a nice foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma meaning it is very sweet and fruity. The palate is smooth. Overall I like it but it is not perfect. There is an astringent finish with a touch of metal. This one might be past it’s prime but I figured that a little age would not hurt this one. A very good Belgian style beer. nolankowal (850), Columbus, Ohio, USA
