Nose of an apple poptart. Flavor is bready, like a crumpet, and green apple. Very interesting brew, and worth trying again as a change up in a tasting. Cirrhosis (619), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 11, 2009 Bright golden body with maybe a hint of pink, a very large fluffy cap with good retention sits on top, lacing is slippery and spotty. On the second pour from the bottle the body appeared cloudy and more yellow. Sour granny smith apple and lots of it, this is awesome a fruit beer that’s not cherry, raspberry or strawberry. Under the intense apple aroma smooth wheat comes out but you do have to try hard to find it. Flavour isn’t as intense as the smell and a lot more of the wheat comes through the apple is there but is balanced better with the malt. There is some flavour in the finish what I can’t identify but its bringing back memories of medicine when I was a small sober child. Very nice fruit beer tasty light and clean and has a completely different flavour then all other fruit beers on the market. afireinside96 (827), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

Cloudy yellow pour with a loudly crackling, quickly dissipating head. Smells of orange, apple, coriander, and cereal. Lots of coriander flavor with background notes of cider and orange. The overall flavor reminds me of Fruit Loops cereal. And like most Unibroue beers the carbonation is intense and stinging. Decent but probably not something I will revisit. | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 30, 2009 Wow, the aroma of apples hits you right when you open the bottle. It’s not really overpowering though. The aroma changes to basically a apple pie aroma with spice/cinnamon and malt. Cloudy white in color almost like a wit beer. Taste is basically the same as the aroma with apples, spice, cream and vanilla. Overall this is very nice. I’m glad to have sampled it. I look forward to drinking more this summer. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA

I vaguely rembered the beer being light sweet and delicious. The cork pop out hard an hit the cieling, the beer pured with lots of foam and had a nice strong apple aroma, the flavor was sweet an apple like, but seemed to be mising lots of complexity. a nice drinnkable beers, but did not live up to the memory i had from dallas. vtafro (475), , New Jersey, USA
