3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
When I opened this I had a hit of apple Jolly Rancher (brand-name candy) coming from the bottle but the aroma was more complex than that when in its more concentrated form in my glass--adding a Bubble-Yum (brand-name bubble gum) to it. Definitely pour the yeast from the bottle to the class, as it transforms the appearance to a nicely cloudy yellow to go with the moderate white yead. The flavor has something Kool-Aid (brand-name powdered drink) about it, as if it is overly candied, but there are realistic flavors as well. We'll just call this Ephemere (brand-name beer).

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
I finally found this one! Powerful aroma of Green Apples. Appearance is similar to Hoegaarden. Very foggy. The flavor is less apple than you'd expect from the aroma. Nice spicy edge too. Quite refreshing and enjoyable. Another quality product from Unibroue! (I like this much better than the cherry one they have).

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
the smell ruined it for me, cause it was better then the actual taste, still a good fruit beer with lots of bite, and sublte texture, the spices add dimesnsion to it and the color is a nice milky yellow, decent head with nice hints of apple, coreander and celery

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very strong apple aroma. Pours cloudy gold with small white head. Has a fizzy mouthfeel with a sweet/tart apple/hop flavor. Very light and dry. Not much in the way of malt or yeast. The lightest from Uniboue that I have tasted. Not bad but too light and thin.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Hazy yellow colour with a white head. Aroma and taste of apples and yeasts. Interesting creamy texture. According to me this is the best one in the Ephemere series.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Probably the best non-lambic fruit beer I've had, certainly better than all the blueberry crap that California is putting out right now. The apple flavor is truly refreshing and original, but it's not just a cider flavor, this is beer baby. Spicy, belgian wheat backdrop make this a great beer, and your lady would like it too.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
i THINK there might be some apple in this...aroma is apple with a mixture of clothes that have been hanging in a closet too long. some sweet bubble gum aromas in there as well...not like the gum aromas in some of the belgian ales. flavor is very sweet, not cloyingly, but pushing it. detect a hint of strawberry in the finish. this beer is quite strange indeed.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a cloudy golden body with a large white head. Aroma of apples and spice, like an apple pie. Taste is of sour apple and cinnamon, with a bite of carbonation. Finish is smooth and sweet. Very enjoyable.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
I was so dissapointed with this beer. Unibroue has (IMO) some of the best beers in the world, but this one was lacking much. Nose is very light - just a little apple aroma. Flavor and palate too, are very thin - just primarily apple flavorings. No personality, and not enough complexity to warrant a higher rating.
