Big burst of green apple upon opening the bottle. Light, soft, and bubbly on the palate. Has that yeasty taste that we all know along with mild green apple. Good for something a little different.

Nice hazy yellow color, but with no head at all. The aroma was full of sour apples and barnyard tones. The flavor was more like an extremely mild geueze with a slight apple character. Spritzy feel.

Wakie (612) - Centreville, Virginia, USA - NOV 1, 2003
Golden beer with a small fizzy head. Aroma is all apples and is quite delicious. The taste was quite refreshing, heavy on the apples and completely devoid of hops. My girlfriend proclaimed this to be her favorite Fall beer.

mickblueeyes (106) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 30, 2003
This golden beer has a small fizzy head. The nose is light, crisp and sweet with green apple peel and a chalky sweetness. It is approaching “jolly rancher” smell, but not quite. The palate is more subdued with sweet, overripe apples and a touch of coriander which lingers toward the finish.

Nice foamy head with a pale yellow appearance. I liked this fruit beer quite a bit because instead of being too sweet, it had a nice tart quality to it. The coriander also added an interesting touch. A bit watery though in the body.

Shag (2837) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - OCT 24, 2003
Yellow appearance with moderate head. Aroma is granny smith apples and wheat. Flavor is not as much apples as I expected with a very dry taste. Mouthfeel is thick and doughy. I'm not sure what is going on with this beer, but I'll never want to sample it again. Average

it really does have a green apple taste; the color is a pale, washed-out yellow, and the taste is mild and uninteresting

Sweet aroma. Flavor of tart apple, bubble gum, and melon with a slight spice in the background.

Didn't know there were other flavors. I will have to give them a try. Definitely carbonated, but it had that great apple flavor. The first bottle is the best though. You love for it might wane with each bottle.

This was a rather nice change from the typical apple beer. The flavour was rather soft.
