3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light, hazy yellow color. Thin, fizzy head, short lace. Nose dominated by apples, pears, yeast and others. thin bodied, very fizzy, sweet clovey, citrus and apple flavors, takes on a more tart character as it progresses along with some spicyness and medicine in the finish. Very interesting, would serve as a nice lawnmower beer on a hot day.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into a tall, slightly fluted pilsner glass. Had about half an inch of visible beer, maybe 11 1/2 inches of foam. Eventually settles to a hazy, slighht gold with a sticky, white head. Nose is very tart, lots of sour green apples. Has a bit of spiciness, most mostly just the apple. Thinner than expected, apple is definitely there, but it's more of an undertone and not as overpowering as in the nose. Dry, curacao very noticeable after the swallow. Should be a bit more fizzy, palate's a bit flat. More fizz plus more tart would have made this more interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit of a let-down, I must say. A bit light in the flavor department, with just a tiny hint of apple. Not complex enough to go with the packaging and the buildup.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Smells very strongly of yeasty, sour green apples. A very tempting smell, but the flavor is much more biting than I expected, yet there's not really any balance of malts or hops or anything at all really. Thin and watery. No sweetness at all - a very, very dry finish, reminiscent of champagne. Cloudy, pale yellow with a frothy white head. This is an interesting brew, but it's a little hard to palate.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is a crisp little warm-weather beer - the aroma explodes with apples - cloudy golden color with a frothy white head - flavor is like a wit plus fruity extras - slight spices mix with a strong (but not sweet) apple flavor perfectly - slighty yeastiness - my burps taste like freshly picked apples after drinking this one - high carbonation mixes with the light nature of the beer to make this a great warm weather treat - however, I think this needs a tiny bit more sweetness.

Great big white head on this one. The smell was mediocre, but the taste was amazing. Another winner from Unibroue.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Highly effervescent, cloudy straw yellow with a ful size white foamy head which dissipated to a semi-thick layer of foam. Aroma is yeasty, tart and green apples. Very crisp with flavors of apples, wheat and coriander. This is a nice refreshing brew that I thouroghly enjoyed.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great hazy yellow colour with a very frothy white head. Smells of sugar, green apples and yeast are very evident. A very thin beer with subtle tastes of green apple, the freshness of coriander seed and a tiny bit of the orange peel (curacao). The aftertaste is a bit drying and light. Definately a good summer beer. Not to be so stringent, but I think this beer should be classified as: Printemps (SPRING-Not winter) 2003. This is a rating for this years' version of this..not last years. However, I think that everyone is rating this one as 2003's beer, so I will as well. I bought this twelve ounce bottle from Dean & Deluca in Washington (Georgetown).
