3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Cloudy, yellow color with a massive, rocky, white head with excellent retention. Aroma starts sour and appley, but quickly turns tremendously sweet and candyish like boiled sugar or watermelon candy. Then, comes the downside: the flavor. It starts quite astringent, and shares many qualities with carbonated water. Flavor is reminiscent of Beverly, an Italian palate-cleansing soft-drink that I try each time I'm at Walt Disney World's Epcot, but makes me want to yak each and every time. Very little candyish qualities in the flavor, and no apple taste whatsoever. Finish is of cobwebs, malt, and some ripened fruit (ok, and maybe a little sour apple), but it is far too little too late to save this. I thought I was going to have a phenomenal beer, but this just didn't deliver.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Apple nose leaps from the bottle, like an apple-flavored hard candy; nose from the glass is full of Unibroue house character as well. Cloudy light straw-colored body, medium white head, receding. Light and refreshing, starts with the Unibroue flavor and finishes with green apple. Unusual, to say the least.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
golden hazy color with, good sized white head that quickly fades. yeasty sour green apple aroma. Taste is of green apples, sweet malt, with some mild coriander and clove spiciness, a refreshing summer beer, that's a nice change of pace

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tart green apple aroma hovers above the fizzy golden body. Flavor is mellow, with some sourness from the apples and a touch of malt and yeast. Tastes the same as every other ephemere, just with a different fruit.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This one pours a pale, golden, straw color with a big, creamy white head that lingers. It has a big aroma of apples, yeast, coriander, and orannge. Medium body with lively carbonation and a smooth, creamy mouthfeel, this one goes down exceptionally well. The flavor is wonderfully balanced between the apples and coriander, with just a hint of orange. The finish is long and sweet with a big fruit burst of apples and a lingering coriander spiciness. What a fantastic beer, especially for these hot, summer months.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Now this is an innovative warm weather beer (something that is sorely needed). Very spritzy and lively on the tongue. The apple flavor is present but not overwhelming. A bit of a floral flavor as well. A great summer evening beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Yellowish apple ciderish color, very hazy. Large creamy soft head. Aroma is apples, dough and cinnamon. A medium bodied fruit beer. Very Spritzy. Lively carbonation. Malts are fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. The apple flavor is very subtle and is more tart than sweet. There is a touch of wine cooler-ishness to it, but its most definitely a beer. This is a perfect beer to sip on a hot summer evening. Yet another interesting beer from Unibroue. Mouthfeel is full and soft. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light, hazy yellow color. Thin, fizzy head, short lace. Nose dominated by apples, pears, yeast and others. thin bodied, very fizzy, sweet clovey, citrus and apple flavors, takes on a more tart character as it progresses along with some spicyness and medicine in the finish. Very interesting, would serve as a nice lawnmower beer on a hot day.

3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured into a tall, slightly fluted pilsner glass. Had about half an inch of visible beer, maybe 11 1/2 inches of foam. Eventually settles to a hazy, slighht gold with a sticky, white head. Nose is very tart, lots of sour green apples. Has a bit of spiciness, most mostly just the apple. Thinner than expected, apple is definitely there, but it's more of an undertone and not as overpowering as in the nose. Dry, curacao very noticeable after the swallow. Should be a bit more fizzy, palate's a bit flat. More fizz plus more tart would have made this more interesting.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A bit of a let-down, I must say. A bit light in the flavor department, with just a tiny hint of apple. Not complex enough to go with the packaging and the buildup.
