The apples clearly come through in the aroma and the taste. Slight spice to the taste. However, the beer itself is pretty average and unnotable, which was a disappointment and brings it down overall. jmm635 (257), Havertown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 6, 2008 Bottled. Very interesting rating. High scores for the green apple aromas and flavor. Unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Average appearance - cloudy and yellow with a frothy white head. Palate was a little too carbonated. This was a very tough beer to rate. Very unique and strong aroma and flavor - but I didn’t really like it. Not my favorite style, but most people will respect the efforts. fonefan (11411), VestJylland, Denmark

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate yeasty, moderate to heavy apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. (Sweetness is chemical apple flavor and a bitte annoying). Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 31, 2008 750ml bottle from By the Bottle in Vancouver, WA--Poured a bubbly champagne-like golden body. Frothy mild white head. Nose of spicy green apples that tingles on a full sniff. Champagne-esque mouthfeel also. Crisp, dry, biscuity, tart flavors. Yeast plays well with apples. Crisp, citrus, acidic, astringent, but mild. Nice beer! Kaizen666 (16), , New York, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 28, 2008 As soon as you pop the cap a green apple shoots up at you and into your lungs. Pours a hazy gold, white head which melts in a heartbeat. Tastes likes an aroma that would invade your senses, when you taste a smell, as if you sat at the kitchen table watching your grandmother slice green apples into an apple pie. Beautiful. Honey aftertaste is brilliant.
