Unibroue is one of my favorite breweries, but I guess they had to make this to appease a small crowd of fruity beer drinkers. Subtle apple flavor, much better than Woodchucks. rcweir (121), Massachusetts, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2008 A thick, pale head with some good lacing. Dissolves pretty quickly. Amber gold with a strong, almost seedlike sediment. A sweet, fruity aroma with a sour green apple bouquet. Light mouthfeel, and a nice, crisp flavor with a slightly bitter start and a sweet finish and lingering aftertaste.
It’ll be interesting to see how a bottle of this ages for a few months, if it will get sweeter or more sour. Muggus69 (517), Sydney, Australia
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2008 355ml bottle, BB 08-14-09. Cloudy straw body with tight medium-sized white head. Big candy apple aroma, some sourness with coriander spice and bready malt. Palate has the actual texture of fresh apple juice (somehow), sticky and tart, with a lively yet soft carbonation. I’m reminded of the sour apple candys I could get as a kid (Warheads?), has the sort of freshness that you get from good quality fresh apple juice, touch of coriander and nutmeg spice in the background with a drying bready wheat maltiness towards the finish. Can’t say i’ve ever come across an apple fruit beer, this is a well-made beer regardless. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hazy, light orange yellow body with quick white bubbles. Lightly browned apple juice flavour with sweet candy apple hints. Light body is quite bubbly. Interesting but light and very bubbly -- would like to re-rate.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2008 Bottle; pours a hazy gold with a pretty big white head. Aroma of Unibroue yeast, wheat/banana, and apple. First sip was a bit rough, but it definitely got better. A blend of yeast/banana, sugar and apple. Did a good job of blending some flavors that complimented the apple. Surprisingly good.
