| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 16, 2008 Bottle: Poured a cloudy dark yellow with not much head. The aroma was of a fruity champagne. The flavor was initially of apples, followed by grass. The aftertaste was non existent which really makes this an enjoyable summer beer. Overall, it was good. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 15, 2008 This cloudy amber pour smells of apple and cinnamon. The taste isn’t much better, mainly sour green apples. It has a nice tart finish though. Imperial-John (161), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 15, 2008 750ml bottle. Murky yellow with big white foamy head that thins but doesn’t disappear. Reminds me of a saison. Citrus yeasty strong aroma. Very light taste is well blended, smooth, apple, lemon, tarty. A good summer beer that should be sold in large bottles unlike the 9 and 10%ers they sell. gerardoluna (195), Mexico

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Pours a cloudy straw to golden color wth a thin white head. Aroma of sweet and juicy fruit dominates. Some spice noted. Flavor is clean crisp apple and spicy yeasty character as well. Not bad although not a style I usally go for. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2008 Updated: Nov 30, 2008 Poured to a cloudy golden color with thin white head that dissipated fairly quickly and left okay lacing. Strong aroma was of green apples was evident from the start and persistent throughout. The mouthfeel was somewhat tingly and well carbonated, with the flavor being a somewhat tart extension of the nose. Finish started out sour, but then trended toward sweet as the malt kicked in.
Truly something different on a hot summer night.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 12, 2008 Truly a beer that looks absolutely refreshing in the glass: golden with lots of stuff going on in the glass. The aroma was also absolutely yummy. However, this is where the compliments end unfortunately. In the mouth the flavor was what I expected and the apple taste was somewhat of a minor chord, but the finish ruined it for me. Half way through the bottle the taste in the back of my throat was of sour, crabby apples. I do love the fact that the Unibroue folks are trying to be original, but this one didn’t do it for me.
