Light green apple skin mixed with the familiar unibroue belgian-like yeast taste. Very light and refreshing. Smell is sugary and sweet like their La Fin Du Monde but there’s less abv and less bitter balance. Anorther whiff gives off some hard to detect extras. Kind of complex and utterly drinkable. puboflyons (602), New Hampshire, USA

Pours a cloudy bronze with a generous puffy, white head. . the aroma of apples overpowers any other scent that you might have noticed. Well, perhaps I catch a hint of malts. Medium mouth feel. Apples are definitely in the flavor but I also notice the coriander. Generally fruit beers do little for me but this one is more appealing. AR (426), Georgia, USA

It had a medium mouthfeel, an interesing apple aroma, and a hazy appearance. So far so good. The taste, however, mas a mild, slightly aged, apple. I like me apples fresh. The apple could have been more tart and crisp. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 14, 2008 12 oz bottle. poured golden with quickly dissapaiting head. Every kind of apple flavor permeates this beer: app Ple cider, candy apple, green apples... Pretty sweet, not exactly spectacular, but enjoyable on a 90* day.
PS. Unibroue is probably my least favorite craft brewery in the world. ChristianScheffel (4507), Odense, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 14, 2008 Cloudy golden with a disappearing head. The aroma is one third apple candy, one third sweet cider and one third Belgian blonde. Which could be a lot worse since I generally hate apple flavoured beers with a passion. Flavour is dry and with the yeast dominating the apple. There is some spice, but sadly also sweet, artificial apple candy in the finish. elihapa (1052), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Appears a light yellow orange, cloudy. Smells of fruits and spices. Palate has prickly carbonation, and a medium body. Flavor is sweet and smooth, of apple, yeast, and some spices. Nice gently tart finish. Overall, good but nothing too memorable.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 11, 2008 On tap at Tyler’s, Durham. Pint night, and as usual I forget to bring home the glass. Dag! Anyways, cloudy yellowish pour with some yeast in there that recalls a saison. Fairly understated nose, even if the apple is detectable. For some reason, seeing the green apple on the label, I’d expected this to be a sour. Instead, it’s a fine twist on a Belgian golden (moderately hopped) with some very mild apple notes mixed in. Flavor kind of washes out in a generic yeasty strain. Not Unibroue’s best, but I’m glad to have had it.
