Jan 1, 2008 Feb. 2006 - What can I say about this beer? Well, it looked good...poured murky yellowish color with nice head and lacing. The aroma was strong and sweet...but threw up red flags for me. The flavor was of apples and spices...but just not good. I like very few fruit beers (outside of New Glarus) and this isn’t among them. Like many other fruit beers, this reminded me of cough syrup (artificial tasting).

Dec 26, 2007 Pour into a tulip glass. Light yellow hazy pour with a very rocky head. Huge apple aroma. Tart apple flavor with a hefewizen type flavor. A lot of bread/biscuit/yeast in the flavor. Went nicely with Xmas dinner.

Dec 26, 2007 Cloudy, straw-coloured body with a full head. Green apple aroma. Crisp, refreshing green-apple taste. Very enjoyable.

Dec 25, 2007 Updated: Apr 26, 200812 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orange body - like a wit or hefe. The aroma is green apples. The taste is like cider. Bitter nose, but then smooth, and appley. Not as good as I thought it would be, but OK.

Dec 22, 2007 a very very good drink. I’m not sure I can call it a beer, but It was good. The ’chunks’ of yeast or apple or whatever were slightly unsettling for me. But I don’t like good beligums for the same reason. This was a not so sweet decent ’fruit beer’

Dec 19, 2007 Pours very bubbly. Sour aroma, not unlike apple cider vinegar. Taste is faint of apples, and leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. Initially very weak, and does not improve. Could use more flavor, and perhaps more alcohol. Was this made with bad apples by mistake?
