Nose of green apple hard candy. Flavor of watery apple cider made with sour green apples. Aftertaste of bubblegum. Palate is light, slightly dry, fizzy and refreshing. Better fruit beers abound. Slight sour apple aroma, but it is not overpowering, mostly you smell just plain old beer. Slight haze in this rather light yellow colored brew. Mild creamy carbonation. Taste does have some sour tart apple in there but again it is not overwhelming. For the most part, this is simply just a decent saison with a little apple tartness. As a fruit beer, this is one of the better ones. TheJester (709), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 7, 2007 355 mL bottle. Cloudy pale gold with a small head. Aroma of sweet apple cider, coriander, maybe a little tangerine and hay in there as well. Flavour is crisp; green apple dominates. Fairly heavily carbonated. Not something I’d drink often, but I’d try it again. stubby (326), Santee, California, USA

Apple cider and some spices without being overly autumnal. Metallic aroma and tart finish. Very good. Light and refreshing. blklab2007 (961), Connecticut, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 25, 2007 The 750 ML bottle poured a slightly hazy golden yellow colored beverage with a small fizzy white head that was quite gone in short order with little or no lacing being left on the glass. The aroma was APPLE! It was like pouring a glass of apple juice at first however upon close examination there were light notes of coriander, orange and malt in the background. The body was very light with lively carbonation and a watery texture. The flavor started out just slightly sweet, then went to just a hint of sourness in the middle and end. The finish was medium-short with a refreshing slightly dry presence. mcbackus (742), Merritt Island, Florida, USA
