Cloudy yellow with a generous white head. Nose is obviously apple, cider and somewhat sour. Flavour is apple, cider and caramel slightly. Dry aftertaste with a mild sour like you just finished a jolly rancher. Nice seasonal.

Jul 15, 2007 750ml bottle. Cloudy pale golden colour with with a small head and fine white bubbles. The aroma is primarily tart green apples with some spice thrown into the mix. The taste is also green apples, but not as intense as the aroma, also some mild malt and hops are present. Smooth lively carbonation similar to champagne. Dry taste, not too sweet with a mild sour aftertaste. Im not really a fruit beer fan, but this is one of my favorites.

Jul 13, 2007 Rated 7/13/07. Cloudy yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma was that of sweet fruit. Flavor was very fruity, with banana and pear taking precedence over apple. This beer was sweet, but not dramatically so. Nice fruit beer for a hot day, but thats about it.

Jul 11, 2007 Updated: Feb 23, 2008Pours hazy yellow with bubbly white head. Smells of apple spice. Coriander works well with the apple to make a unique flavor. Would like it a lot more if it was a little more sour. Has a good crisp soda body which works well with this type of flavor. Something different but well executed.

Jul 9, 2007 Pours a cloudy yellow color with a small, white head. Aroma is predominantly apple with slight spice notes added. Taste is smooth and an interesting mixture of apples, spices, and carbonation. This is a very solid, interesting beer, though again not one of my favorites from Unibroue.

Jul 9, 2007 Updated: Jun 5, 2008My first Unibroue beer. Huge wave of sour green apples hits my nose after a clean blonde pour. I get a hint of citrus to go with the apple as I drink it, with a sour bite. Mouthfeel is quite unique; spicy, gold-like, carbonated, sweet....hard to describe accurately. Haven’t had a beer quite like this before, must admit. Will seek out more from Unibroue for sure.

Jul 7, 2007 Great smell of granny smith apples is the first thing you get. The flavor has a touch of apples with a bit of sourness. An excellent beer from one of my favorite breweries.
