Bottle at the LCBO - hmmm, a green apple beer you say? Well, Everything was good at first; It looked fairly tasty and the aroma was awesome! Sour green apple smell that I love. However, the taste didn’t quite live up to the aroma. It tasted more along the line of an apple "core", it was fairly hearty in comparison to the aroma. It was still nice, but a bit of a let down. An Alright fruit beer.

750 ml bottle from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Cloudy, slightly dirty golden with a fair, loose white foam. Aroma: Lots of sour apple Jolly Rancher, some yeast, wheat and very light funk. Palate: Medium+ body, full, fairly soft effervescence. Flav.: More yeast and wheat than the body, the apple is a bit more real and a bit less front and centre, it is also a touch spicy; on swallowing, the apple fades to give way to some light biscuity malts and a bit of mineral; off-dry with no bitterness to speak of.

Finally rated after several consumptions. Not bad for a fruit beer.

As soon as I cracked this the room filled with the smell of fresh apples. Very pale colour with a hint of green, not bitter, very crisp and light. Flavour is very fresh, mineraly, with only a slight apple taste. this beer would be best enjoyed come warm weather.

Shared this with Jay, A Clear dark straw color with a quick settling foamy white head. Smells like the essence of a sour apple (more wholesome than a Jolly Rancher but with a similar intensity). Sweet light with lots of carbonation as you role it around in your mouth.

12 oz. bottle. Shared with Gabe. Pours a thin white head over a pale yellow (SRM 9) slightly cloudy body.....nose of apple, coriander, bit of yeasty funk....taste is light apple, bit of malt, slight lemon, taste seems sweetish, but remains dry throughout....mouth feel is light, carbonation low after initial pour. A nice light summery ale.

A golden beer with very white frothy head. When I opened the bottle I thought I was pouring apple juice from the smell. Taste was like a mild Belgian with apple added. Apple juice beer.

12 oz. bottle poured a color that can only be likened to apple juice, probably because I have apple on the brain. Bright, white head tops the beer which has the aroma of crisp apples and grains. Front palate is of green apples and pears with wheat and spice in the middle and a grass-like finish. I had been wanting to try this beer for months and was very hesitant that the apple would be overwhelming, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This could be nicely paired with a roasted chicken, pork/ham or turkey with fruit/cranberry stuffing/chutney.

Sour apple aroma. Cloudy white/gray/yellow in color with a frothy white head. Tastes like sour apples; the palate smoothes with time.
