Been a while since I had any Unibroue. A friend brought this over and I hadn’t had it before. This is the kind of "fruit beer" that gives "fruit beer" a bad name. Several steps more drinkablke than Lindemann’s, at least.

3/22/15 (Bottle) - Light golden pour, generous pillow head, thick texture. Sweet apple aroma. Beer is very sweet, tastes OK, feel light and smooth. OK beer but I like others better from this brewer.

Pours hazy gold with white head that reduces quickly but leaves attractive skim. Aroma of wheat, green apples, spice with a vegetal note, like a farm kitchen before making pies on an early evening in late August. On the tongue, there’s more sharp apples with orange essential oil, while the expected cinnamon note turns sharper, peppery cardamom, but there’s also a light drizzle of honey. With a spritzy creaminess, this is a refreshing but also filling swallow, a seemingly summer brew that is substantial enough to serve on a winter’s eve. An ale as opposed to a cider or lambic, this doesn’t make for easy comparison with other fruited brews, not being sour or substantially sweet. It makes a good change-up to the regular line-up. While not as epic as Unibroue’s top beers, it’s just as thoughtfully made.

Not sure if I am rating the right beer here - my bottle looks like the unflavoured, but in the small print says apple. Defo apple on the nose -granny smith I believe! Quite carbonated with a small bead. Flavour profile on the whole is a bit weird for me - like a wheat beer with apple finish

Fruity aroma of apples with hints of Belgian yeast characteristic of a blonde... Golden in color with thick foamy white head... Almost a cidery flavor with an unbelievable sweet palate like cherries that lingers on the palate.. Don’t know if I would consider this a beer but an interesting beverage nonetheless...

Full fruity taste and spicy apple nose, balanced sour and semi-dry, medium body, spritzy, nice head, good lacing, nice honey gold and slightly murky. Excellent winter beer with a hearty meal.

Draft. Kind of a bizarre cross between an apple cider and a wheat beer. Dry, crisp and drinkable but sort of an odd combo.

Sparkly apple beer with the signature Unibroue yeast, lightly spicy and quite vibrant. Not my kind of thing but good for what it is.

Pours a cloudy straw topped bya finger of bright white head showing good retention and offering some lacing. The nose is dominated by green apples and yeasts. The taste is sharp and acidic with the apples at the forefront but the yeasts bring a nice spice to the blend. Medium body and dry acidic finish, this brew comes out as light and refreshing. Cheers!

Bottle from LCBO. Hazy yellow with white head. Nose is sweet Granny Smith apple, some spice. Taste is crisp, fruity, yeasty, the apple is not overpowering and tastes natural. Some banana and wheat beer flavours. Slightly bitter apple finish. Refreshing, excellent lunch beer.

Has a golden pour with big off white head that faded quick. There’s a green apple, wheat, and yeast aroma. Light body that was slick on the palate with a slight tart finish. Flavor was a little dull, and not as lively as expected. Not bad overall.
