750mL Bottle: Cloudy orange w/ a pinkish tint & a large off-white head with...a touch of pink. Aroma is full of currants & yeast. Flavor pops w/ berry, cherry & a nice wheaty zing. A little sour w/ a bit of dryness to it. Being that it’s a bit toasty out today this is perfect. Light & refreshing, pretty damn good. Too bad this one has been retired. Cassis...I hardly knew ye...

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing! Pours a clear deep orange with a white ring Intense sweet aroma of currants. Taste is rich, sweet, and fruity, of currants, citrus, apples, and a bit of a bite. Lingering sweet currant flavors. Nice carbonation. Very tasty.

Amber color with a pink tint. Big fluffy head with a pink tint. Aroma is wonderful with a big fruit smell. The taste is sour, fizzy, with a touch of fruit. Aftertaste has the currant which stays with you awhile . Crisp clean finish. Sorry to see it’s retired.

A solid fruit beer. It is like a mild lambic with no sour flavor and no carbonation. Mildly sweet, with real fruit flavor. Pink color. It is unfortunate this is no longer made, but that is what we get from Sapporo.

Room Temp. 750ml corked and caged, via trade with daknole. Thanks Dak. Shared with Dalekliz and my girlfriend. Pours orange ruby with a bright white ring. Nose is sweet and quite rich with a rich currant and grape punch. Taste is sweet, light and fizzy. Overall nice bottle, glad to have a chance to try this. Also the mouth feel is nice and lingering

Crazy glowing hazy copper coloured body with nice orange tints and a thinnish white head. Amazing aroma of pure black currants, icing sugar, malt and a little yeast. Some coriander seed freshness very faint. Medium-bodied; Nice fresh flavour with black currants coming strong afterwards. Sugars are strong with some maltinessseen. Aftertaste decent, but nothing amazing. A nice beer - one of the best Fruits I’ve had! I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Vienna, Virginia on 21-June-2005 at Jon(R888710)’s.

Pours an amber-pink color with a white head. Aroma is of berries, earthy grains, and yeast. Flavor is full of berries with a hint of yeast and wheat on the finish. Overall not too bad.
