I hauled this back from the summer gathering in Montreal and it’s been in my cellar since. Pours a clear reddish orange. with a tall, tight head that is short lived. Candied fruit aroma, some acidity. Nice fruity flavor that has both sweet and tart in a well balanced proportion. The delivery was spritzy and light.

750ml bottle, caged and corked. Poured a hazy medium orange color with a violet tint. The head was fizzy, white, and reduced in about a minute to a ring. Pleasant aroma of berries and some yeasty bread dough. Effervescent and light bodied. Lots of prickly bubbles up front. Tart on the tongue with delicate sweetness underneath. Nice controlled berry flavor on top of a pleasant wheaty base and a dash of spice. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours pink-orange, almost coral, with a big white head with just a hint of a pinkish hue. Nose is very fruity - tart, sharp, slightly astringent - very much black currant, kind of soft-drink like. Taste is wheat with a definite astringent black currant tartness asserting itself as the primary element in the taste. Very clean, crisp dark-fruit tartness that complements the very subdued sweetness from both the fruit and the wheat. very effervescent carbonation and a light body, both work well with the taste. Very refreshing, well done.

pours cloudy orange with pinkish hints. thick white head. somewhat wheaty aroma with mild aromas of tart dark fruits. current flavors and that of a weiss beer dominate - crisp, slightly tart, refreshing. very crisp carbonation. another good ephemere but not my favorite.

750ml bottle I’ve been sitting on for awhile. Pours a hazy gold body with a foamy, pinkish head. Aroma is sour wheat, hay, yeast, and currants. Flavor is nicely done; the currant flavor is not overbearing, it tastes fresh and sweet, like a wheat beer with fruit added. It does have a bit too much carbonation, though, probably cause I’ve had the bottle for soo long. All and all a pretty enjoyable beer, not someting I’d drink very often, but a nice refresher none the less~

75cl bottle from Beverage Castle (Tampa, FL). Pours a dark watermelon color (pink/red) with a really thin white-pink head. Virtually no lacing on glass. Aroma is strong and fruity with notes of dark ripe fruit, jolly rancher sweetness, ripe red grapes. Flavor is sweet and malty with a tart lambic-like deep cherry flavor. Notes of ripe dark grapes and yeast are present. Similar to apple Ephemere but stronger tasting and more tart. Light to medium-bodied with a sweet, fruity aftertaste.

Had two 750ml bottles. Pours dark amber but is more of a huey orange with some seeds debris at the end of the bottle, appears slightly florescent with nice lacing. Had in a flute glass. Really enjoyable tart flavor that seemed like a mixture of mandarin, grapes, yeast, and blackberries. Short lasting mouth, has a spritzer feel to it like many other Unibroues. I agree with JRedmond... far better than Apple.. not quite as good as Cranberry.

750mL bottle. The beer poured a darkish orange hazy body. The aroma is fruit - maybe some grapes - and juice. The taste is great like the other ephemeres - better than the apple, but not quite as good as the cranberry. Great beer.
