| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 4, 2006 Pours cloudy pink with a spritzy, fully receding white head. Aroma of grapes, spicy yeast, and strawberries. Taste is tart, sweet, and fruity. Notes of cherries, sour grapes, currant, with a spicy witbier finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied with fizzy carbonation. One of the best fruit beers I’ve ever had. I just wish it was a bit softer on the palate. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2006 From a distinctive 750ml. corked Unibroue brown bottle with a freshness date on the back label, 01/19/07, poured into the proper glassware as pictured on back label. Made a good appearance, poured a clear pink champagne color with a large fluffy white head that reduced to a thin lacing. Had a sweet fruity aroma, more of a wine/champagne aroma than a beer aroma, with a little musty yeastiness. Good carbonation and a slick, crisp light bodied mouth feel, also had a little champagne quality to the mouth feel. above average drinkability. Had a sweet, tart fruity taste, a little spiciness and a dry, crisp finish.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2005 Pours hazy gold with reddish tint... giant lacey head with pinkish coloration. Scents of currant and grape are very strong. Taste is similar, but very light and highly carbonated. Quevillon (1543), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jan 14, 2006 Updated: Oct 8, 2009341 ml bottle, bought in my IGA in Boisbriand (Quebec), October 2, 2009. Misty dark rose, medium pink head. Aroma of malty berries, a touch of spice. Taste of cassis and some other tart red fruit, but somewhat malty, slightly sweet and dry in mouth. Not very pleasant at all! Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 11, 2009 On tap at l’Autre Oeil, Gatineau. Hazy peach body with a thick, lasting pink foamy head. Nice malty/hoppy aroma with black currant, spicy and yeasty hints. Taste is a bit thin. However, it is refreshing and well balanced. I suspect the use of flavoured syrup rather than real fruits. Ends with a decent sweet/sour finish. Enjoyable summer beer. shadey (1501), Rochester, New York, USA

Aroma s sour with what I can only assume is currants. Flavor i mild with a dull dead finish. RCL (1499), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2006 Beautifully soft and chill hazed glowing rosey grapefruit color. Just under an inch tall capping of crunchy, light peachy skin colored foam. Resides slowly to a dull skim and collar. Unfortunately the lacing is nearly nil as a few spots try desparately to hold their place on the glass but slide back in.
Aroma is slightly tangy and soured in citrus juices of a mild orange peachy thing with the evident currant nuance and grapefruit tug creating a nice mix as well as a moderate undertow of mustyness. Mildly welcoming and pleasant.
Mild flavors carry a simple, yet delicate palate of juicy citrus encompassing a peachy fluffyness and dull orange juice. Tangy by a nudge, soured by a nudge more, dried evenly throughout the finish. Currants take their place within the tangy peachy flavors.
Feel is lighter/medium with a fluffy, mild carbonation, tangy for sure, but in a citrusy, almost wine-like essense of peachy/white grape dryness. The dryness, however, is very palatable and easy going with a very simple sanction of placement on the tongue.
A very light, easy going simple and subtle brew of wine-like fruityness, tangyness, and dryness. Mild to the buds and easy on the palate. A drenching quencher of a dessert brew if there ever was one.
