750ml bottle. All the Éphémères are on my regular shopping list. This one is fruity but not too much. What’s good about this one is that you can distinguist the fruit from the beer without drinking a sugar syrup. A lot of beers with fruits taste like Mccain super punch with bubbles and 10% of beer. The éphémère serie is an example of good tasting fruit beer. The carbonation was perfect (like usual).

Thick head, amber with hints of blue. Delicate berry/cassis aromas that drew me in. Light delicate and soft on the palate, very floral. Acidic with tart cranberry flavors...an excellent apertif!!

pours, apricot in colour with a big fizzy white head. Very tart aroma of berries, black an blue to be precise. Tastes the same as it smells which is welcoming and the aftertaste is tart like candy. A bit of carbonation. This is a fantastic beer! Much better than the apple but could be a bit sweeter.

750mL bottle. The beer poured a darkish orange hazy body. The aroma is fruit - maybe some grapes - and juice. The taste is great like the other ephemeres - better than the apple, but not quite as good as the cranberry. Great beer.

Apricot-colored with pinkish hues, slightly hazy. Head is large and bright white. Black currant aroma is very prevalent, with red raspberries and a slightly sour cheesiness. Wheaty flavor with berry tartness, moderately sweet and moderately sour with a raspberry seed/tannin finish. Moderate-to-high carbonation. I really enjoyed this.

On tap at Deluxe in Scottsdale, AZ, this was a revelatory experience. I was turning 23 and maybe purposely chose the gayest beer on the menu that I hadn’t had. Immediately I was greeted with a very fine fruit beer, with a flavor that was crisp, but not too sweet; very distinct, but not sharp or bitter. The aftertatste was perfectly smooth and undistracting, no yeast to cloud the flavor, just the perfect blueberry-apple-dark plum flavor of black currant. There were 6 other people drinking with me; we emptied this keg in 40 minutes.

Had two 750ml bottles. Pours dark amber but is more of a huey orange with some seeds debris at the end of the bottle, appears slightly florescent with nice lacing. Had in a flute glass. Really enjoyable tart flavor that seemed like a mixture of mandarin, grapes, yeast, and blackberries. Short lasting mouth, has a spritzer feel to it like many other Unibroues. I agree with JRedmond... far better than Apple.. not quite as good as Cranberry.

750ml corked bottle. Hazy and glowing orange color with a hint of pink and a pink-tinged offwhite head; very pretty beer. Lots of rising carbonation, very champagne-like. Aromas of red raspberries, tart red grapes, pink grapefruit, wheat malt, some sour citrus fruit, and something herbal or flowery, like rose hips. Flavor is very fruit-forward, focusing on a tart red raspberry and grapefruit mixture, with a well-balanced malt presence throughout and a bit of yeast bite in the finish. Peppery carbonation and a pleasant sourness throughout, this was quite a treat! Very well done.
