Pours decent gold with good head lacing the glass. Aroma is subtle with cough drop scent. Taste is smooth and mild sweet at beginning with a very mild tartness from the cranberry.

On tap at Portside, pours a cloudy blonde with a medium white head. Nose brings out lots of wheat and cranberries. Flavour is identical, with lots of faded cranberries atop a wheat, citrusy body. Decent stuff, like all the Ephemere beers, just nothing special.

Je ne suis en général pas pas un grand amateur de bières fruitées. Mais j’avoue que j’aime bien cette bière. Raffraichissante et pas trop sucrée. Une bière d’été parfaite!

on tap at ninkasi, qc. hazy light yellow pour with a creamy off-white head, good retention and nice lacing. lightly tart red fruits - not quite discernable cranberries, borderlining on berry-flavoured candies, belgian yeast, sweetish pale maltiness, maybe a touch of wheat, spices - pepper, coriander and bitter herbs. lively carbonation, light body, dry and lightly tart grassy-herbal-spicy finish. refreshing dash of acidity. enjoyable fruit beer.

Bouteille 750 ml. 5.5%. Couleur jaune paille un peu voilée, mousse blanche crémeuse. Arôme de grains et fruits rouges. En bouche, bonne effervescence, notes de grains, un peu de levures et des fruits en subtilité qui laissent traîner une petite amertume. Très bonne.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow-orange pour with a large white head, settling to a thin soapy coating. Lots of cranberry and citrus on the nose, with a bit of spice and yeast as well. Flavour is more citrus than cranberry at first, but cranberry really comes out as it warms. Also some Belgian yeast in the flavour. Definitely better flavour as it approaches room temperature. Nice for a fruit beer.

750ml corked bottle pours a golden color with pinkish hues with a generous white head that settles slowly, but leaves no lacing behind. Aroma is yeasty with some cranberries and light grains. Taste is fruity and malty sweet with a dry yeasty finish. Light to medium body with generous carbonation. A nicely done brew for the style and quite refreshing and good as an after dinner drink.
