Je ne suis en général pas pas un grand amateur de bières fruitées. Mais j’avoue que j’aime bien cette bière. Raffraichissante et pas trop sucrée. Une bière d’été parfaite!

Slightly sweet wheat malt aroma, with a nice cranberry presence. Pours a clear light golden with a full white head and visible carbonation. Much sweeter then I was expecting, with the cranberries more of a hint of flavor then the tart presence I was expecting. Very light bodied, with lots of carbonation. Easy drinking, and I can see this pairing with several options for Thanksgiving.

Cranberry aroma with vague bread, wood and hop...in other words, you know there’s beer underthere somewhere. Mostly cranberry on the the palate, as the malt and hops both sit back and chill out. The yeast, as in all Ephemeres, is still very much a factor. Refreshing and fruity with an off-dry finish and less tartness than the others in this series.

Tap sample at Dutch’s. Pours a hazy light golden color with a large fluffy white head. The aroma and flavor have a soft fruity character, Belgian yeast, light bready character, mild sweetness, thin and a bit watery.

Very bright tart fruit aromas, lemony, candy like. Sharp, tart, delicate cranberry flavors, spicy. Funky finish that lingers a little bit.

Aromas of tart cranberry candy, Italian ice, somewhat lemony. Hazy yellow-orange, white had is mostly fading. Very refreshing, citrusy. Light bodied.

Bottle from LCBO. Pours amber, not red as one might expect. Pleasant tart flavour with just the right amount of cranberry. My favorite ephemere, I think.

Corked and caged 750 ml bottle. Clouded peach color, thin white foam fades. Muted berry fruity yeasty wheaty aroma and taste, lightly tart, a bit aqueous. Average carbonation, very light bodied, low hopped. Paired well with Thanksgiving turkey dinner. MLF (More Lagerboy Friendly)

On tap at Dutch’s. Totally hazy golden orange color. Thin white head. Some loose bits of lace. Medium body, nice full feel to it. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick finish, kind of a dry taste. Moderate sweet, light tart. Good creme and cranberry aroma, wheat, mild spice. Pretty nice cranberry fruit beer. Has kind of like a cheesecakey creaminess to it, and nice amount of cranberry, overtop a solid wheat ale.

Nice smooth smell of cranberry, yeast and rosemery. Sweet taste of caramel with a dry herbal centre and a fruity sour and sweet finish. Bittersweet. Fruit added to a belgian ale. Not bad. Drinkable but a bit sour. I like the cranberry.

On tap @ The Port Trenton. Pours a dark hazy gold with minimal head. Aromas are cranberry or white grape juice. Tastes are cranberry, clove, and orange zest. Tangy, lively carbonation, short spicy finish. Interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy
