Corked and caged bottle marked best before 09-2007. Poured a large white fizzy head that was mostly lasting, poor lacing, lively, fast rising carbonation, hazy, and a pale yellow hue. Artificial cranberry nose, sweet and sour. Flavor was sweet, acidic, sour, dry and cranberries. Tingly mouthfeel. Light body. Nothing exceptional.

750 ml. bottle. Pours pale hazy orange with a quick tight soapy head that dissipates to nothing. Aroma has oxidized subtle cranberry some pear and apple and I get a strange mint scent. Taste has more oxidized mint pear and cranberry flavors rather unpleasant. Palate is thin with a gentle carbonation and finishes dry. I believe this bottle has turned, and not in a promising way.

Bouteille 341ml.

Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a murky dark peach color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was dryish and must with faint vague berries and a bit of pepper. The flavor was initially dry and musty followed by bread, sugar, tangy berry and honey. The finish was long and bready with lingering honey and berry. Moderately full bodied. Tasty.

750ml bottle: Hiding in the back of the fridge. This one pours a slightly hazy, golden yellow color. There was a very small white head on mine which didn’t linger or leave any lacing. The aroma is good. Some tart cranberries. Background notes of wheat and spices. The taste is also good. Tart cranberry, but not overpowering. Some wheat and bready notes. Slight spices. A nice brew!

Originally rated December 2002. Cloudy beige with medium head. Citrus aromas with smooth, fizzy and cozzy mouthfeel. Light cranberry taste behind the lees bitterness. Worth trying but does not beat its cousin, L’Ephemere with apple must.

Bottle, corked and caged. Poured a slightly hazy light orange color. The head was three fingers high and white with decent retention. Nice aroma of unripe fruit, yeasty bread dough and subdued pancakes. Light bodied and dry with carbonation on the livelier end of the spectrum. Tasted of light berries, dry cereal grain, and some ginger and honey. Nice enough stuff.

Seems to be back. Got my c&c 750 from Liquid Solutions this week. Pours hazy gold with a three finger bubbly, fluffy white head. Aroma of wheat with cranberry notes. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is ... starts rather wheat, but cranberry overcomes it. The cranberry isn’t strong, but neither was the wheat. Very refreshing. I could just slosh this right down. Winter ale? I’d take it to the beach. Finish is arguably balanced. It’s not dry, and it’s not overly bitter. Most all impressions are indeed ephemeral. I’m enjoying the heck out of it. Especially since I thought I’d never have a chance to drink it. I’d do it again.

Bottle. Didn’t realize this was old. Unclear if that affected things. Aroma of some medicinal cranberry, but mostly wheat and grains for me. Flavor the same, just hints of cranberry that aren’t all that wholesome with sweet grains. Decently refreshing, but kind of the same sort of refreshing that an ice cold Bud Light can be after a few hours of tennis. Ultimately leaves me with little lasting memory.

Bottle. Pours a light yellow with a small white head and lively carbonation. Aroma of sweet cranberry, grape. Flavor is of chewable cranberry/grape candies. Sugary like those sugar-coated gummybears. Slight tartness/prickliness. Rather sweet and artificial tasting to me. Just ok, I’m not really digging the flavor here. 7/4/6/3/13 (3.3/5)

Bottle thanks to andrew. Pours light gold color, thinnish head. Aroma of chewable vitamin c, sweet fruits and cranberry. Favor is cranberry, no sourness, light fruit flavor. Thinnish mouthfeel. Decent.
