Pale blonde. Fizzy head dies very quickly. Aroma is, guess what? Peachy! Strong and sweet, but hardly complex. Flavor is, as Josh says, a struggle between the yeasty and peachy, the sweet and the sour. I've little to add, except that it seems to me that the sourness wins, with mixed results. The apple (printemps 2002) is the clear winner amongst the ephemeres if you ask me; this is a serviceable, drinkable fruit beer, fresh and "real" tasting, but nothing truly special.

Light tan; peach dominates the aroma with a little yeastiness and dried hops. Yeasty, off-dry character with peach candy - the yeast struggles to offset the sweetness of the peach extract. Sweet and sour finish. I'd prefer to take my Ephemere neat, thank you.

Smells like peach jello, a cloudy golden colour, with a medium white head. Artificial peach flavour. Sweet, plenty of carbonation, filmy on the tongue. Fair for this Brewery.

What a nice product. In a light belgian ale base a rich peach character is displayed for all. For a summer beer this is heaven in a bottle.

It has a peachy aroma. Very light colored, like the color of wheat. Sweet fruity flavor, almost like a Cherry flavored Belgian with peaches. Nice dessert beer. Cheers, Martin

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2005 Peach colour. Large white head. Aroma of peaches and the ever present Unibroue yeast. Tastes of peaches, yeast and finishes with a slight candy sweetness. Very refreshing.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2003 Another Ephémere with the BIG WHITE HEAD and same straw colour. This one is definitely PEACH baby! I don't know about the confusion about the other Ephemeres and their critics claiming the peach flavour; this is it. Slightly sweeter than the other seasonal Unibroue beers. Excellent example of a brewery trying something new and getting it right! A vos santé...

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2003 Strange pale creamy yellow color with a hint of orange. At first sniff you realise it sure is a peach beer. Peaches on the front and then comes a more candyish taste a bit bubblegum like. Not bad.

Creamy, yeasty peach cider...Drinkable opulence and hearty fruit beer...Dreaming of summer (even though this is supposed to be a winter beer)...
