Poured a cloudy golden color with a large head that gradually shrank as it was consumed (leaving behind nice lacing). Aroma was spicey (coriander) and most strongly of apples / grapes. Mouthfeel was light with carbonation. Flavor was somewhat weak and inferior to the Dupont saison I had. Still an enjoyable beer, but not my idea of a great beer.

Served as Unibroue Rotator @ the Memphis area Flying Saucer. One of the weaker beers from Unibroue. It has nice hints of citrus and the typical carbonation of other Unibroue beers.

Not a bad wheaty feeling beer, would never have thought it was a Saison. Sour and softly fruity aroma. Dry, dilute, refreshingly drinkable but undetermined character does not interest much.

33 cl bottle. Aroma is fruitty but it’s not supposed to have any fruit in it. Maybe some apple and grape. Taste is crisp right away although the head dissapears quickly. Flavors of lemon, grape peel, spices and sweet malts. Nice tanginess also.

Copper colored beer, hazy, with a thinner white head. Primarily malty, light fruit, mainly apple, light citrus. Medium bodied, dry, drinkable. Not bad but not all that much of a saison (but I can’t be sure that’s what they were shooting for).

SpringsLicker (3439) - Tennessee, USA - AUG 23, 2005
Tart, wine-like acid aroma. A rocky head forms over the sparkling clear, dark yellow body. Light body and flavor. Slightly dry palate, no hops come through at any point. Very refreshing and drinkable, but doesn’t really go anywhere that a wine cooler doesn’t go.

K082... Poured a clear, orange / dark amber color with a short lived, off white head that left very sparce lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, citrus fruits, apples, light spices, melon, and alcohol. Taste of green apple, citrus, some sweet malts, and a dry, tart, lactic finish.

Cloudy yellow, big white head. grassy, lemon/lime aroma. Nice notes of citrus and, um, Sprite? Decent notes of citrus throught. Very quaffable and refreshing. Thanks to Springslicker!

341 ml bottle, bottled Nov. 8, 2002 according to the date code, but label says Spring 2000, so I’m a bit curious about this find at Depanneur Rahman in July 2005. Very cloudy amber colour with a mostly diminishing frothy and fizzy off-white head. Lots of particulate as well. Typical Unibroue fruity and yeasty aroma. Dry, yeasty, sour, and fruity flavours with a dry yeasty finish. Light to medium bodied, very dry mouthfeel, a bit prickly, but very refreshing. Glad I picked this one up.
