cloudy red/orange color, foamy white head, nice citrus flavor, orange or apricot. very tangy palate, citrus holds on the tounge. this was a very enjoyable brew, i will definitely be looking for it and it’s flavored cousins the next time i am up north.

This is my favorite éphémère. It would totally own if they could make it regular. Orange color, light, and less tasty than the other éphémère. Little citrus taste, Acidic, medium carbonation. It taste unibroue Yeast. A nice one, really resfreshing. I’d drink it again anytime.

Poured deep golden amber with a fast fading off white head...generally bland aroma...maybe some sour fruits...very spritzy and flavorless though...not bad, just not much going on...like a...I don’t even know...a very malty saison I can almost see...

Funny, this beer looks exactly like every other Unibroue that I can recall. Hazy, medium dark brown body with a lot of foamy, small bubbles in the head. The taste reminds me of sour apple, which is still in the basement. Maybe that’ll be next. Lemony aftertaste that’s around a while. I didn’t like this style much at first but it’s growing on me.

dirkules (629) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 17, 2004
hazy tan in colour (as are all the ephemere beers) and a lasting white frothy head. Scant trace of bubbling. A cornucopia of the cassis, peach, apple, and cranberry fruit flavors. Should work a bit better than it does. Cassis is the strongest. A tad citrusy sour, but the exact proper amount. Another strikingly good unibroue brew.

DaSilky1 (2606) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 31, 2004
cloudy, hazy orange with solid head formation. Overripe fruits (apricot, peach, and pineapple) with some just ripe grapes..high carbination with a full bodied mouthfeel lending theirselves to heavy yeasty fruit flavors...subtle grape tartness and a chewy bite to the finish. More full bodied than the fruit ephemere’s

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2004 Thick white head of fine bubbles. Decent carbonation. Nice sweet aroma of spiced apples, yeast and a bit of other spices. Color is a murky golden amber. Flavor is fizzy, clean and smooth. Light flavors of fruit, yeast with a dry mouthfeel like eating a granny smith apple. Finish is dry and slightly tart. A decent brew. Thanks to radiomgb for this one.

Wheatsheaf (104) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 19, 2004
341ml bottle, aged 12 months or so. Slightly hazy orange with a large, white, foamy, lasting head. Orange and lemon zest in the citrusy aroma, along with some yeast. Light body with a lively mouthfeel that is more rounded and far less prickly than other beers in this series. Fruity, citrusy flavour with lemon and lime tastes that are moderately sour and acidic. A touch of tangy yeast in the background. Clean, citrusy finish. Enjoyable and nicely refreshing. Unibroue should forget the fruit and just brew this version as a regular summer seasonal.
