bottle dark with bubbly whitish head. Aroma of light caramel and chocolate with faint fuity notes. Flavor thinner than the aroma would have you believe, nevertheless contains some complexity.

A very beauitful and very dark amber. Almost non-transparant. Great color. It has a fruity, malty, slight alcohol smell. Very well balanced and great. Just beautiful. Looking forward to this. Wow, very nice. Malty, fruity and a littel alcohol taste. Just like the smell. But a little more complex. At least to me it is.

(Bottle 34,1 cl) Courtesy of Siroy. Hazy, dark brown with a small, creamy, beige head. Vinous aroma with some dried fruit. Medium body, sweetish notes of roasted malt and dried fruit - has a very soft mouthfeel. Very subdued bitterness. Less yeasty and carbonated than what’s the norm from Unibroue - and hence quite delicate. 080507

Drank in a tulip. Poor is dark brown with red highlights and a beige frothy head. Aromas of blackberries, lactose, very yeasty, wine barrels, cherries.... This one smells and tastes like a baby Trois-Pistoles. Very light and creamy mouthfeel, very similar to its blond cousin. Lightly carbonated. You can feel the alcohol at first then towards the end a less obvious sweet and bitter aftertaste.

Aroma has lots of apple, burnt caramel, slight rummyness, hint of raisens. Flavor is malty, touch of vanilla, caramel, raisens, with a fairly sweet finish.

Thanks to hopdog... Appears a hazy dark brown with a red hue. Small light beige head that fades into a tiny cap. Smell is of hops, caramel, brown sugary, along with cocoa, and a fruity aroma. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, yeasty, slightly thin. This one seems to hit along the sides of the tongue with a mild sourness that is hardly noticable. Probably the age catching up to the bottle.

12oz bottle acquired in trade with boutip (thanks!). Poured a dark and cloudy brown color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of dark fruits, yeast and caramel. Tastes of dark fruits, caramel, yeast, and light chocolate. Thinner body.

Poured a hazy brown color with a small, white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malts, dark fruits, anise, light cocoa, and the Belgian Unibroue yeast. Taste of caramel malts, with more dark fruits, cocoa, yeast, and light alcohol.

Pours an opaque dark brown with a big rocky tan head. Smell is yeasty, fruity apple, spicy (clove and cinnamon). Tastes of ripe banana, clove and yeastiness. Sour apples and hints of lemon. Mouth is lighter than you would expect but still lightly sticky. Pretty damn good. The stronger big brother of the Irresistible Blonde.
