Deep brown colour with a tan coloured head. Smoky, yeasty, and slightly fruity aroma. Dark fruits, raisin, and yeasty flavours. Medium bodied and smooth.

Ruby color with a small off-white mostly lasting head. Toffee and cherry aroma, full bodied with a sweet yeasty ending.

Eructoblaster (3033) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 27, 2004
Very dark brown body topped with a nice brown head. Sweet floral and lightly alcoholized aroma (there's also some hints of blackberries). Too much carbonation for that type of beer. The taste is dry and sour. This is far below what I was expecting from Unibroue.

presario (4642) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 23, 2003
Very dark brown with lasting brown head. Highly carbonated. Yeasty baking soda-like nose with some darker fruit notes. A bubbly dark fruit wine would describe the initial taste. Sour yeastiness in the finish. Pretty average for a Belian or a Unibroue.

fiulijn (14770) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 17, 2003
Brown color; brownish generous and creamy head. Simple malt and caramel aroma. Ordinary Dubbel body, just some light malt and caramel, quite dry, without character.

Really unexciting. Seems like a watered down Trios Pistoles with out the alcohol benefit.

A solid brown color with a mod head. Not a hell of a lot going on with either the aroma or body, kind of bland if you ask me.

Vac (2445) - San Diego, California, USA - NOV 14, 2003
This dark brown brew is topped by a thick off white head with a good amount of lacing left on the glass. The aroma is slightly sweet yet sour and flowery with a slight yeastiness. The flavor is also slightly sweet yet sour and fowery with yesty notes. Medium to full bodied and slightly warming.

Bov (9552) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - NOV 12, 2003
dark colour, the head is initially medium, uniforme, creamy and slightly brown-tainted, aroma of prune, slightly toasted with notes of alcohol, very smooth, lot of carbonation (looks like a big trend by Unibroue), decent bitterness, dry malty finish with reminiscence of prune - good but very resistable

This brown pour is very carbonated, but as herbjones noted, not much in the way of flavor. OK, but could have been done better
