The taste is sweet and smooth, comprised of wheat and fruit (just as the aroma elluded to. Like all of the other Unibroue beers, I am extremely impressed, not my favorite style, but very good interpretation (improvement). direwolf9 (29), Dallas, Texas, USA

Very easy beer to drink. Unlike the stouts and hoppy IPA’s this beer would have a very wide audience. Most non beer drinkers would like this beer. FlyingTaco (112), Massachusetts, USA

750 corked & caged into Ommegang chalice...
Clean, thin 1/2-1-finger yeasty even head with a clear seam topping a cloudy, honey body with quick carbonation. Looks like a good Trippel - last pour heads up a lot more but goes quickly.
Telltale Tripel signs of bountiful coriander, a little clove and ginger and nice yeast character. Hardcore electricity and wheat-ish bite. Strength dissipates with warmth.
The spicy tone of this is extremely solid and electric...clean, yeasty profile with mild malt sweetness. Solid carbonation gives this a slight saltiness that blends well to make a clean-drinking experiment in Beautiful Chemistry.
A hearty, husky malt/yeast/wheat profile gives this an extremely solid woody backbone. The spicy sweetness is balanced with the ample carbonation to provide a greay palate tingle. This exhibits quintessential Tripel mouthfeel.
This drinks at a very responsible pace. Not quickly but not too slowly. Matters, as it’s a pleasure to enjoy. One of the best all-around offerings that has been given a "good look" in some time...

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2009 33cl bottle at Old Bank. Hazy golden to amber, small pale head. Ginger and spritzy cooked pear in the aroma, little acidic notes and minerals, faint sweet maple syrup. Flavor is warming alcohol, sweetish sugary feeling, minerals, pear, light gingerbread spiciness. Club soda feeling all over. Medium to full bodeid, strong mouthfilling carbonation. Pretty hollow tripel, way overrated. DeadGirl (235), West Palm Beach, Florida, USA

Tastes of hops, "different types of yeast", a faint hint of citrus/orange peel, but most of all, chewy, liquid bread... with a tart kick. Love the fantasy label. Downright epic tasting, Belgium style beer. Makes me happy. #050 on 06072009, DG. Berley31 (198), New Brunswick, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Bottle (750 mL). Poured with a large, off-white head that eventually diminished to about one-finger size. Body was hazy, with light particles, and a dark yellow color. Lacing was fair. Very nice aroma... average yeast, some fruitiness as well. Great on the palate... full body, creamy, with lively carbonation. You can taste light alcohol, but it’s not overwhelming at all. The fruit comes through again, and stays with you for a good amount of time. Delicious. A fantastic tripel; I’m very happy Unibroue is here in Canada to provide us with authentic-tasting Belgium brews. Jblauvs (573), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Nice flavor, tangy and yeasty, typical Unibroue. Warming finish of sweet booze ALCOHOLNIZM (61), WARWICK, USA

I POURDED IT INTO THE GLASS THAT WAS RECOMENDED ON THE BOTTLE AND I WAS TRULY AMAZED BY THE COLOR, (CLOUDY RUSTY GOLDEN) THE AMOUNT OF THICK FOAMY HEAD AND MOSTLY THE ABUNDANCE OF CARBONATION . WHEN I TASTED IT, I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO THINK, I DONT LOVE IT AND I DONT HATE IT BUT I DEFINATELY FEEL CHALLENGED BY THE FLAVOR IT IS A FAMILIAR TASTE WHICH I HAVE YET TO PUT MY FINGER ON I THINK IT MAY BE CARROT, SWEET POTATOES ,YAMS OR SOME SORT OF ROOT VEGETABLES? (ACTUALLY I AM CERTAIN) VERY ODD GOOD BEER TO PAIR WITH FINE CUISINE , ALTHOUGH IT MAY NOT BE SO GOOD FOR CHILLING WITH YOUR PEEPS AND THROWING DOWN A FEW.
